Few... I would say he means roughly 2 or 3 TD’s. TD’s referring to Touchdowns. Depending on PAT success, that would translate anywhere from 12 to 24 points. Therefore, I think he’s saying Huffman beats Splendora by the above-mentioned spread. He’s saying Splendora will lose.

I’m not saying it’s a shocker, but I will say last year is last year...

On paper it’s Huffman Hargrave who beat Liberty 34-7; whereas Splendora squeaked out a win against Liberty 16-14. Lumberton beat them last year too. Not this year though. Huffman is a pretty good team. I’ve seen Splendora too. Not bad. It’s all about the matchup. Huffman 31 Splendora 21. I would love it if Splendora won and shook up the DC race a little though.

What does that mean this year? I’m guessing with your prediction, It’s a good matchup for Huffman? I thought Splendora returned 7+ Starters on each side of the ball. Wouldn’t that mean most of the matchups are the same or did Huffman have a good JV last year and they’re in varsity now?

Splendora by 30 points, or whenever they decide to slam the breaks!

This clearly is not a Crosby Cougar fan, don't let the name fool you. Crosby folks are smarter than that. Splendora could not muster 30 on an inferior opponent last week, how can they win by 30 this week?

The road to the District 21-5A Championship goes through New Caney and Texan Stadium.

This is true, but only because Splendora plays both opponents at Texan Stadium, a place Splendora has never lost. The district championship will be decided when Crosby heads to Splendora is late October.

  5. I am scared to use my first post now, especially on a JV thread......Im a real "newbie", my son was playing for Splendora JV (he got moved up) but I am still excited to see this post Bronco94. Actually heard about it through the Splendora JV coaching staff and I will be attending the JV game still as it should be a good matchup of two undefeated teams. Splendora moved up 3 JV kids to varsity as they are not as deep as the Broncos (thankfully for my son as it sounds like this does not happen in Dayton) but I cant wait to see the JV square off tomorrow, any father knows the past between these two. Cant wait to see Santee, Ramirez, and Nail again, those kids compete!
