taylor monse started for hj and terry veitch started for wos it was 3-3 when veitch got pulled in the 4th with a bunt single and a walk wos scored first and was leading 1-0 and then hj scored 3 then wos tacked on two in the third and then hj scored 6 in the 4th in the bottom of the 7th earl thomas hit a two run homer in left center to end the game the mustangs played a really good game maybe none or 1 errors but a couple of walks and seeing eye singles hurt the stangs late in the game

what do yall think? wos jus came off a huge win against kirbyville and hj just pulled it off against hf

The mustangs played a really good game they had 2 mistakes that cost the 2 runs junior Justin (Bubba) Gearhart pitched complete game 2 hitter with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts he was also 4-5 with 4 rbis while earl thomas was 3-4 with an rbi jacoby franks, terry veitch, taylor bonnin, chase adams and the rest of the 'stangs really hit the ball good it was a great game by the mustangs

this game is in kirbyville friday night at 7 they played the first one at wos in which the wildcats won 9-5 in which they scored 7 runs in the 7th.

on friday the mustangs played st thomas moore at 6 and lost 15-5 then at 8 they played opelousas catholic and tied 3-3 sophomores cody hodge and taylor bonnin pitched well and then on sat at 10 the mustangs played westside and won 8-4 justin gearhart pitched the complete game and earl thomas hit a three run homerun bringing there record to 1-3-1 and now the mustangs will host kirbyville in the district opener at 7 at ronnie anderson field in wos

on friday wos will play st thomas aquinas from hammond louisiana at 6:00 and then will play opelousas catholic highschool at 8 in the louisiana lafayette tournament that will be played on campus

beau helmke and jeff stringer were on the same teams this summer so it should be a good game

ive heard this game will be moved to 5 at lcm in order to get in before the rain so varsity will play at lcm at 5 and jv will play at wos at 5

wos played them really good in the scrimmage but a couple of errors cost the stangs but i say the stangs will win in a nailbiter late in the game

central beat wos 7-6. central scored 2 runs on a 2 out texas leaguer over first basemans head. All started off with an error by the second baseman. wos will be decent this year once they get rolling it will be exciting in this district as well
