Didn't have one last year either !! Playing zone isn't there strength. The middle be open. Safeties/CB are young and learning as they go.they will get better as the year goes on.lol on to newton. And at the same time lcm has descent wrs.

It sure will. U just can't look at things one dimensional.did anyone give either jasper or newton credit for defense.and given there offense that many more opportunities.when u play teams like that u have to play assignments football.even w.o last year didn't do it against either team in regular season.but what a difference a year makes.w.o knows newton and jasper are there. And they know w.o is there.and what makes it so interesting is man on man.i can guarantee u w.o will play 40 defense against both of them. Things abt to get fun!!

U know that loss really bothers me. Why simply have to agree with u. Bcz sometimes when u have a talented u have to go back to basics.blocking,tackling,conditioning,and just knowing ur assignments on defense.this team is too talented to get beat like this.

Lcm is alot better than last year.need to clean up them penalties!! And throw the ball more when a team load the box. I'll tell u right now them and jasper will be alot closer than ppl think. Lcm has some pretty gud athletes.keep there composure.

W.o has all there gud freshman on JV.and a couple of them should be on varsity bf the year is out.this freshman class is has alot of talent at the skill position.

The problem is he starts both ways. If one of the younger rovers step up on defense he want have to play as many snaps on defense.its early and I think someone will give coach T what they're looking for. Bcz on both Nederland long runs the rovers were out of position.but they need that tough minded opponent that if u make a mistake and they will take it to the house.and it's what Nederland done.this non district schedule will benefit them bf they face silsbee with all them backs.

Yes he sure does.and one thing abt him.ppl criticize him,but alot of ppl don't see how much he truly loves every kid he comes in contact with.and he would give his last dollar to any one of them and would do whatever it takes to get a kid to college.

As I examined this game.and I truly understand why most ppl are taking Nederland.for one ppl looks at last yr and the struggle w.o had out the gate.and bcz of w.o offense isn't where ppl would want them to be.but if they examined this year w.o team.the strength are there offensive/defensive line.and there LB.and I thought Nederland backs done a great job last year.but the difference is this year w.o kids are better equipped for there assignments on defense.and I really don't see Nederland having an offense line that could dominate w.o. sure Nederland will compete a few passes.but at the end of the day 24-10.gales will have a big game.

And that's straight from the horses mouth.idk why that coach would blow smoke up u.if u truly know w.o and what makes them different.is that ever since the hooks/Thompson regime started.they will play anyone and anybody.no there not the most talented team.and no they don't win every big game.its all abt making a team earn it. And that's what it's all abt.they will compete against anybody.

I wished they could play PAM in the next couple years. I know Nederland and png are gud sound teams.and Ik for a fact w.o has try to play PAM too.even in a down year like last year imo w.o wasn't even the best team in there district.but at the same time could compete with anyone.look at all 5 loses last year. They could've won those.they were in every game.and this was from a team that had to find a qb,new personal on defense bcz kids were blowing assignments.starting RB hurt the whole yr.last year had no senior leadership.all the better players on that team were underclassmen.and come Friday u will see this isn't last yr team.better experience across the board.and the funny part is the wrs and QB still have work to do.but it's a team effort.defense will keep them in games til the offense gets clicking.

Lol. I see after a bad year in which everyone has to admit. In which they still went 4 rounds deep. The haters are there. So there will be so many eating crow this year. Every team treats scrimmages the same way.only running a few select plays.but I'll be the first to say.wrs and QB has to get better.in which they will.but u don't see that the defense and special teams are better.so u heard it hear first.w.o and newton will be the last 2 teams playing in December.

I think ppl are getting caught up to much in who should be the starting quarterback.both are talented.and it's not just abt the qb.its abt the team getting better each. Take for example Clemson who won the national title switched QBs.and I can even do better than that.even my yrs at w.o 86-87. Had two.somethings just plays itself out.even silsbee last year switched QBs.its all abt getting better as a team each week.

W.o passing game isn't there yet. But he is throwing the ball better. So he is gonna hit a few down field. Defensively if Nederland can't throw the ball it will be a hard game for Nederland to win.i honestly say teams took advantage of the bad dline play w.o showed for almost 10 weeks last year.this is a new year!! #69 will be a problem no matter who w.o face.lol the wr core are young but once they get .look out !! Next 3yrs will be scary.

I know first hand it's the only job that he would leave shoemaker for. Otherwise he is happy where he is. He has a gud relationship with everyone that is involved there.and u couldn't tell that his team was 0-10. But the next couple years they will get a couple wins up under his belt.the funny part is even with a 0-10 team.he still got kids scholarships.

Silsbee will at least go 4 rounds deep. Not many teams has 3 backs that could go over a 1000 yrd mark.

And ur right !! Silsbee should have won the district.there young team matured better than w.o.at every position.if ppl would ever pay attention to 2 things from last yr.one the QB play was horrible last yr.and the defense was perhaps one of the worse ones to come through.even in the jasper and silsbee playoff game.secondary just let wrs run free for whatever reason. And they couldn't tackle.remember newton game.the underclassman was the best part of w.o team.they will be strong for the next couple years though.

I would like to know what year wo played well in rain.ive been around for at least 35 years of watching them.they dont play well in those conditions.bc even had a chance to beat them last yr. Its simple dry field wo will handle silsbee.wet field silsbee wins. Silsbee beaten w.o 3 times in wet conditions games.l bleed blue. But I dont know if they have learned to win in those conditions.lol and dont forget against silsbee they had 8TO.not the mark of a team that can win in those conditions.
