  1. Because its only Sunday MAVERICK will wait till about Thursday to start making the Kitty-Cats mad. I have watched this team play they are a good team they are Way too Fast for us They are way too Big for us They are way too strong for us, They Hit way too Hard for us, They have better Coaches, Prettier Cheerleaders, They have a louder band, They have Dancers that kick higher. They even have a Better Trainer, Maybe we should just Not Show Up!!!!!!! TO HE-- WITH THAT WE ARE RAIDERNATION WE DONT BACK DOWN TO ANYONE! Kitty-Cats we dont care if you won the Superbowl last year this is 2007 Year of the L-Train. You have two choices GET A TICKET AND GET ON BOARD OR STAND ON THE TRACKS WITH YOUR TROPHY FROM LAST YEAR LOOK INTO THE EYES OF OUR LEADERS AND GET RUN OVER

You may only know Mr Hussey now but trust me by the end of the first half you will know who has the Hardest hitting Defense that you have been beat by this year!

    WHO IS NEXT

About the only thing LM will be better at than L-Town this Friday is the entrance to the game thru their kitty-cat run-through balloon.  After the opening kickoff L-Town will own the field and win by 14pts.

L-Town is the mirror image of PNG with a quicker defense.  LM couldn't move the ball well in week 0.  In week 12 they will not be able to move the ball at all.

  2. Hey C4L, remember these MC fan(atics) don't believe  till they smell it.  Again, LC is the defending Reg 3 Champs with a homerun hitter in Rodgers and are big on both sides of the ball.  But as I always say, if it's not between the Neches and FM 365, it doesn't count......

    LC 42

    PN-G 14

Didn't you graduate from a school in that same location which isn't in existence anymore?

I did too, but I always support the local KIDS in the sports they play in.

Mr. Rodgers will be entering the Indians neighborhood this coming Saturday & when he takes his shoes off at the door, he will be greeted with a smack down.  PNG 35-14.  Coach Broussard will have our Young Men ready again.

  3. If the game is Friday or Saturday, me & family will be there supporting the Raiders.  I'm a Big PNG fan, but come playoff time I cheer and attend most games from our fellow area competitors.  PNG played LM the first game of the season.  If we would have been running the type of offense now back then, who knows what the outcome would of been.  I believe L-Town wins on heart alone.  28-14.

Hey PATITAN, We are LM Cougars Whoooooosh I mean SQOOOOOSH!!! The L-Train keeps rolling.

  4. If you look back after the png game you will see how I told them great game and thanks for all the Trash talking. I really think the people on here that take all the trash talking too seriously had to be Band Members or Cheer Leaders Beacause anyone that has ever played Football is  used to the trash talking. Hey we have taken it for 40 years. After the game no matter what happens I will trash talk then tell the Ned fans how much fun it was having the chats this week! I hope just because yall hate me telling yall the truth, doesnt mean the Ned fans won't come watch my son play ball in the playoffs.

Big Ned Fans, Maverick is telling the truth.  He talked a lot of smack before the PNG game and after the loss, he gave credit where credit was due.

Maverick, there is one thing different in this game versus the PNG game.  When L-town loses this one by more than 10pts, you can give them credit an you & your son can also buy tickets and watch them the following week.

    Bid Ned 14 years running.

    L-town 41 years running. ;D

  5. All we heard from Nederland last week was about their superior passing game. Well, I don't need to tell anyone how that turned out. Now PN-G tells us about their superior running game. I'm starting to see a pattern, and whenever Nederland ran the ball, 9 times out of 10, they barely got yds and most of the time were tackled for losses. I think PN-G's running game is better than Nederland's but I don't think it will be to the par that it needs to be to break through the Dayton defense.

Fans from Dayton already said on the message boards and the radio last night that their defense is fast but SMALL.  I can see a team that tries to run outide on Dayton lose that battle really quick.  But a team like PNG and the size of our line we run the ball right at every opponent, between the hash marks.  Don't misunderstand what I'm saying.  I believe Dayton's defense is the best in our district, but I also believe that they haven't faced a great running game either.  It will be a great game to watch and lets hope both teams stay healthy after the contest for the playoffs.  PNG 24 Dayton 14.

  6. I like Dayton a whole lot more but I think we really need Nederland to win

Lumberton will be thanking a MidCounty school this week.  Once BigNed whips up on the Broncos and L-town takes care of business against LCM, the Raiders will FINALLY make the playoffs.  This is just like old times, both MidCounty schools in the playoffs representing one of the most powerful districts in the state.

  7. The PNG Indians would not be where they are at right now if Coach Broussard & Burnett were not good defensive mind coaches.  Coach Broussard prepares his boys and puts them in the right position EVERY PLAY of EVERY GAME.  He is doing a great job.  The NDN defense has yet to have a bad game.  They make big play after big play.  The yardage and points stats may not show this but the most important stat does 5-0 in district.  Keep up the good work Coaches and Players, I see another District Championship in the making.

  8. You dont get it we have told you many times we dont care if you support us. By the way a few wins is 2 We have 6 wins.

What happen to the seventh win?  Did it not happen last Friday?

Lumberton played a great game, but the better team won Friday night.  The linebacker kid Beard, is a very good athlete.  He was getting upset when he couldn't make every play.  He will be a strong player to deal with in the next two years.

Can you remind the PNG faithful how many yards Hussey had?

Where was the eighth ranked defense?

Does any of you L-Town fans know who #33 is for PNG?

Good Luck L-Town, you will represent our district well in the playoffs.

It sure is sweeter to be the district LEADER.

    Good game Indians!!

  9. Close but not quite.

Travelingbandsman is correct.  All PNG needs to do is beat Vidor and they are in the playoffs.  Central, Dayton, Nederland, & Lumberton play to many remaining head-to-head games and they all have at least one loss already.  Do I need to remind you that PNG has zero.  If PNG would tie Nederland or Lumberton on record, PNG would enter the playoffs because they won head-to-head.  If this is not correct please inform me.  Oh yeah, PNG rolls over Vidor 35-7.

  10. Not meaning this to be disrespectful, you need to re check your math.

According to your rationale PNG and Central can both get in with 2 losses, but Nederland, Lumberton and Dayton can only afford 1 loss total to get in?

Bottom line is that Central is in serious trouble and is going to need to win out and need some unlikely things to happen to have any hope whatsoever of getting in.

The rest is wide open to PNG, Nederland, Lumberton and Dayton. Too many if's and no one that is unbeatable including PNG.

At this point every one of those teams still has total control of its own destiny.

  11. ha lumberton vs png will never be a second mcm... never. png and nederland are the only two teams that can make that atmosphere. it takes purple white gold and black to make that happen.

It was just a figure of speech. ::)  Trust me, I know it will never match up anywhere close to MCM.  I was just talking about the amount of people that will probaly be at this game.  It will be a long 30min. drive back to L-Town for their fans.
  12. So who do yall think has played the better teams so far in District.

If you go by opposing records they are even.  If you go by Pre-season picks, I say L-town.  If you say quality opp., I say slight edge going to L-Town.

This is going to be one fun game.  It's like MCM with a district lead at stake.  What more can a fan ask for.  I have heard rumors that the game is almost sold out.  Is there any truth to this rumor??

  13. Raider87. I am beginning to think you do not know much about football. Please tell me what match-ups you see. Is it our very good sized and athletic o-line? How about the two 280+ d-tackles we can play? Do you think a 6'2" 225 Hemmings is weak? Did you watch Josh Wright in the Ned game? Have you seen our DB's play? Did you notice Mr. Driver running for his life all night? What about Kendrick Salter being shut down with the exception of one long run? Please break it down for me Mr. Football. I am beginning to think you have yourself convinced you have a team full of fictional Bobby Bouches that are going to ride into the REZ on an airboat and save the L-Town Trainwreck.

I love it.  That is to funny.  Great post akifan94.

  14. I  think you are taking this the wrong way. The reason people say that to you is because you keep acting like just because Yall have Tradition and have won in the past it will help yall win a game today. If yall are better than us then you will beat us dosent matter what the team did 30 years ago. Just like Us if we beat yall it will be because we are better not because something we did or did not do 30 years ago. Yall should be proud of your history but dont act like it will help you win Friday night! Thats why People get on  you about it!

When you read the word MOJO, do you think of a great teams now at Odessa or do you think that past teams help motivate the young players today?

  15. I never said the past doesn't count. You have a great tradition to be very proud of. I've always rooted for your team in the playoffs. I know people from Lumberton that travelled to watch you in the playoffs. All I'm saying is that our boys are fighting this year for something to be proud of also.  As I said in another post, our wins this year may mean nothing to anyone else. But to us, considering our past, they mean a lot. Say what you will about the teams we have played. And yes, we may not win another game, but at this point in time we have hope and we back our team. You have been to the playoffs many times...this may be our first...you're excited about possibly going again and we're excited about possibly going our first time. Sure some of the fans are taking things too far. Every team has those few that do. We feel our boys are capable of winning. I'm looking forward to a very hard fought game Friday night. Win or lose it's all about those boys on the field. We're proud of them no matter what happens.

    Great Post.
