LU by how many??? I say 97-59!!!
I am a little disappointed that there has been no talk of the first game of the season...............where are all of the Cardinal Hoop Fans???
Who is going tomorrow night??
I would be going to support my Cards, but I have to support my PN-G Indians first. These are my favorite two local teams to follow and watch all year every year. I received a fortune cookie before the high school football season started that read, "Your sports teams will be very successful this year". Look what has happened to the Indains!! The Cards will soon follow!! GO LU!! -

First off im not drinking a thing secondly . I believe Pn-G cocky A,. fans need to come off there high horses and come down to a ground level . Pn-g will get what they deserve by Bh there is a rivalry going on this Friday at stallworth stadium and i see the BH Eagles advancing to the second round of State playoff and pn-g going to academy to by a pair of good ol chuck taylors for there first practice of LITTLE DRIBBLERS ( PNG high school ) oh and the comment one of yall said lets bring PNG pee wee players to play varsity are idiots bh pee wee team could beat them smash mouth in the ground yall couldnt keep up with Falcon the QB =D giving him some props . I sure will come down too a realistic point of view Bh Wins this friday 28-24 there you go . thats give your Indians little more of a chance .

The PNG fans on this thread are making me sick. Yes, be proud of your season accomplishments as we, The Hill, are proud of ours! But really, get off your high horses! The game Friday night is going to be a great match up between two DESERVING teams. It is definitely not in the bag for PNG. I can promise you that if your boys underestimate our Eagles, it will be their last mistake! As for beating a dead freaking horse, enjoy your basketball season that will start next Monday! (i am so over hearing that crap too!)
The only thing BH DESERVES is to be sittin their arses at the house with all the other 4th place teams that made it into the playoffs. I didn't like it when they decided to let 3 teams in. Now you have a bunch of 2-8, 3-7, 4-6, & 5-5 teams that have made the playoffs, 90% of which will get absolutely embarrassed in round 1. Very few districts are actually strong enough to send 4 quality teams to the playoffs, like 20-4A and 24-4A. There are others, but 19-4A ain't one of them. Chew on that for a while. (I feel the Smites already and I haven't even posted this yet, by the way how bout some Applaud's from those that agree)
PNG 38 BH 10

Diamond-J is right on. Turnovers are the key to winning this game. A few take-aways would help Barbers Hill and the odds of them having (7) turnovers again ain't gonna happen this time around. I hope all the PNG players are as over confident as the guys on this forum, that will work to the advantage of Barbers Hill. Remember PNG had to come from behind in the last minutes of the game to tie up the game on blocked kick to beat a 7-3 Central team that lost to a 4-6 Livingston team, so these guys are giant killers, they can be beat. While PNG had a great year at 10-0, and has every right to be proud of this year, if they get over confident and cocky, they'll have plenty of time to watch Saturday morning cartoons the next day...Ya'll just keep believing these guys are you basic 5-5 team. BH is waiting, Come on down....
People seem to forget we turned the ball over 5 times ourselves during the first game. BH QB is a very good athlete, he will not be able to scramble like he did in week 0. Our defense is one of the best in the state and BH will see the progress made from the first game in only three days. -

That ranking does you nothing unless you take care of business each week.
If I were PN-G I wouldn't even look at them...
Just keep winning ONE WEEK AT A TIME!!!
This week PN-G needs to shoot down the Eagles, then you concentrate on the next game.
The team and coaches know that but it is fun for the fans. ;D
I would like to second that statement. ;D -
This is one insane thread!! I love the fact that BH loves their team just as much as we do. It will make this Friday nights game even more fun under the lights. I have seen every game this year and yes the Indians have improved greatly. I would be wiling to bet that BH has too. Their QB in Week 0 gave us fits. We needed that, because it made our team believe we could win with a new coach and system. The remaining 9 weeks have prove it. I see BH putting up a great fight, but will be a little short on manpower come the second half. PN-G will win this by 2TD's.

Lamar1996 - look back at your posts from week 5 regarding the WOS forfeit issue. Did your kids really know that WOS didn't play all of their kids? You did what was right and stood up for your kids. I understand your kid plays for the Purple team and as it stands things are the way you want them to be, but we have a team full of concerned parents and if you will read the posts there are supporters from every area including your team that have said, what's fair is fair. It is all about the kids, right??
You are so correct...I was highly upset with the WOS coaches not giving every kid their 10 plays. I later understood the coaches made a mistake and it wasn't on purpose. I was feeling really bad for those kids, I could have cared less if we loss. Heck we really did lose on the score board. WOS has an outstanding team, they still would have beat us if they played every kid their allotted amount of plays. As far as the seeding goes as long as every player gets at least 10 plays in does it really matters who their lining up against to play?
-
BAM..Give the league an opportunity to evaluate and handle this. For you to spout off about incompetent board members shows a lack of understanding on your part. How many day long scheduling meetings or half day playoff meetings have you attended much less chaired? You are a pee wee coach, if I understand correctly. This means that you have limited experience in this league ,yet you have the audacity to call out board members as incompetent. Some of these board members have spent countless hours devoted to the kids, parents, and communities in which these kids play football. As a parent that had a kid involved in Pop Warner several years back I can say that this league is head and shoulders above Pop Warner. Do you realize the commitment it takes in order to make sure a league of this size functions properly on a week to week basis. Each individual organization spends alot of time and money to ensure that the kids in this area have an opportunity to learn the game of football, along with sportmanship and team work. I do not know who you are personally, but if you are not directly involved with NYFA or STJFL ,other than being a coach, I suggest you take a look at the big picture before you call people, that devote their time and energy, incompetent. Give the board a chance and if they do not make the proper call, according to your opinion, then I suggest you make the decision to devote several years to develope a league that has been as successful as STJFL. Think before you speak grasshopper....
Thank You.....Very well stated.
-
just like I figured... Lamar1996!!! Your an INDIAN! HAHA GO FIGURE.
What does that have to do with anything regarding my kid?? Nothing!! So your a Bulldog, no one is perfect ;D. Same is being said about the board issue. They are not perfect too. Isn't the STJFL a nonprofit organization? We have great volunteers taking part in a great organization and people like you crying about who is seeded where. Boo Hoo!! Is it really not fair for your son or is it really not fair his DADDY? Grow up, it is suppose to be fun win or lose.
-
You people are killing me. Who cares who plays whom! These are 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders. They could care less who there next opp. is. Is the STJFL for the kids are the adults. So what if your team is playing as a lower seed than YOU think. The board made a decision days ago so live with it. I have an idea, lets suit all the coaches and parents up and have the playoffs instead :. See how dumb that sound just like this thread. JUST LET THE KIDS PLAY!!

Go ahead and line up in your standard 3-4 and it will be 28-7 alright but with Vidor winning. Your coaches are smarter than that.Like the old cliche' goes, "You need an offense to score points, but a defense to win championships". Well what do you know the PN-G Indians have both. Vidor has an outstanding team this year much credit is do to them. After reading many post in this thread I have come to the conclusion that Vidor must have a large offensive line ;D. It will be a challenge for them to have to block our 3-4 defensive schemes all night and yes we rotate players the entire game too. Plus to make things even more complicated for Vidor we are big and quick to boot. Halftime score 14-7 PN-G. Final score 28-7 PN-G. Defense wins CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!
Review my quote once more, I beleive I said Schemes. Yes our coaches are smart, look at the results from our previous games running a 3-4 defense. It must work, don't you think .
