  1. I'm not a fan of any radical group and although I lean right, I have good friends who lean left but we are able to converse and respectfully disagree on certain subjects although we tend to agree on 80-85% of subjects. What particularly scares me about the radical left is that they label anyone who disagrees with them as a racist, bigot, homophobe, transphobe, etc. and as a society people are getting more and more scared to disagree with the fear of what they will be labeled by the public without the opportunity to present their side of the argument. It is a slippery slope.
  2. I'm not demonizing the left. Notice I said radical left. Time will tell what will happen.
  3. I typically don't post much in the political forum, but I truly believe it is only a matter of time before the radical left starts pushing that pedophiles deserve rights and it's a "fetish", not a crime. I sure hope I'm wrong but I have thought this for some time now and after seeing the story of adults throwing money at that little boy dressed as a little girl while provocatively dancing, it furthers my fears. At some point morality and common sense have to take over, but I'm slowly losing faith that it will.
  4. Project Blue Book is pretty dang good. I’ve always thought it was a bit selfish and shallow minded to not believe there are other forms of life that exist in the universe but that’s just my opinion. There’s a reason Area 51 exists and our government is so tight lipped and paranoid about people finding certain things out.
  5. Sad to hear about the passing of Rick Smith's wife. One of my worst fears in life is my wife or child passing before I do. I pray the good Lord gives him and his family peace and comfort in this horrible situation.
  6. I watched it as well and he was all about Deion but on the other hand, the stats and tape don't lie and he was electric at both. I wish the Braves would've won the series in '92 and they would've had to give him the MVP award.
  7. As bad as the no call was I must agree. Still had a chance in OT to win and I love how Brees said that postgame. One quick question, if the NFL is fixed, how has Jerry Jones not bought a Super Bowl? I would think they would have fixed it for “America’s Team” at some point. Just food for thought.
  8. Been trending down for awhile now. Anyone with half a brain can see their agenda being pushed more and more. They remove Schilling from the 30 for 30 but keep domestic abusers, sexual predators, and child abusers on the highlights.
  9. I believe so because it is illegal in Texas and would not care about an out of state license.
  10. I think that would be a more exciting OT 100%.
  11. I am not 100% certain but I believe CBD is legal in Texas(CBD is the more medicinal part of the plant with only trace amounts of THC which is the psychoactive part of the plant that gets one "high"). From my understanding, the only way to get prescribed medical mj in Texas is if a person has violent seizures. Texas is one of the toughest states to get medical clearance from what I have read/heard. One of the biggest reasons I am for legalization of it is to take the power and money out of the criminals hands, tax it , and educate people about the medical benefits to it and also the hazards of abusing it.
  12. Most valuable College Football teams (Forbes): 1 Texas - 1.1B 2 Ohio State - 1.05B 3 Alabama - 1.01B 4 Michigan - 924.6M 5 Notre Dame - 913.4M 6 Georgia - 891M 7 Oklahoma - 885.5M 8 Auburn - 871.9M 9 LSU - 852.4M 10 Tennessee - 727.8M
  13. Playoff basketball is much different. The refs typically let the players play a little more physical and Harden doesn't get the calls he is used to getting. As of right now, I do not see the Rockets making it to the WCF, much less the finals. Officiating in the NBA is a joke, and I do agree stars get special treatment, but Harden is not alone in getting calls. I am far from naive, and find it comical you don't know how to spell that word correctly.
  14. I'm a conservative and I'm from the younger generation but I'm also a reason/logic/numbers guy. I personally don't use it anymore due to drug testing in the line of work I chose, but the prohibition of mj is built on false information. There are no risks of overdose, the gateway drug arguement is a joke because IMO alcohol is the greatest gateway drug out there, and I don't know of anyone that has became violent due to the use of mj whereas the use of alcohol has been attributed to domestic violence/violence in general. Might as well tax it and use the revenue to aid education and drug abuse/rehabilitation.
  15. None of the Texas fans I know are panicking. Significant step down from Mayfield and Murray. We will see your Tigers Sept. 7th. Come early, stay late, wear orange.
  16. How well did that work out for them? He dropped 40 and his team got the win. If you take his free throws away he still scores at an insanely high rate. The dude is an offensive force!
  17. Just watched this series and wow! He is a despicable human being that deserves the worst. I had heard of stories from the past but after seeing the series, I don't understand how he's not in prison or dead at the hands of his victims/victims families. 3 words - waste of oxygen.
  18. Between Indy +5.5 and Dallas +7, I took a beating on the books today. Thank goodness for the Chargers putting me up big last week!
  19. Those are conference games, I was speaking on non conference. I forgot you also have to face perennial powers Vanderbilt and South Carolina from the SEC East that year.
  20. I think he will be a great qb but it's tough for young qb's in the playoffs. I'm definitely betting the over in the KC/Indy game.
  21. [Hidden Content] Barn burner of a non conference schedule in 2020...
  22. Mahomes has to prove himself in the postseason. I think Indy wins in KC this weekend.
  23. The transfer portal is already going to be bad enough in my opinion, if they don't make Fields sit a year, it'll get out of control no doubt. It seems to me that a large number of kids can't handle/run from adversity or the challenge of working hard to earn a starting spot since they've been entitled and a big fish in a small pond for their entire life.
  24. Just saw that Martell entered the transfer portal after Fields announced his move to Ohio State. Admittedly, after watching QB1 on Netflix, I'm not a fan of Martell's. He seems like an entitled little brat that has never been told no, kind of like a Manziel.
  25. Peyton Manning took 8 or 9 years to win his first super bowl. The guy must have been a total scrub until 07.
