Hook'em

Actually have never seen that show although I have seen previews and it looks awesome. Spent some time brainstorming over a few potential new hobbies and decided on blacksmithing. I figure it is something I can do for years and never truly "master" and hopefully can get good enough at it to make some pretty cool stuff for myself as well as gifts for friends and family.

Does anyone on here tinker with blacksmithing or bladesmithing? Getting the essentials to start learning this as a new hobby. Would like to specialize in bladesmithing but want to learn how to make tongs, hammers, and other tools as well. Would like to pick some peoples brains that have experience with it.

As a Texas fan, it’s frustrating seeing these high ranked recruiting classes come in and end up 7-5. I hope the development of these players gets better moving forward. I am very excited to see a guy like Bijan tote the rock. Sky is the limit for a guy with his potential.

If you like starting pitching, this is the series for you. Looks like the following will be the first 3 matchups: Game 1: Scherzer vs. Cole Game 2: Strasburg vs. Verlander Game 3: Greinke vs. Corbin I think an under the radar thing to look at is Greinke being able to bat in game 3. He is a very good hitter for a pitcher and this may play a big role in the game. I’ll call starting pitching a wash, but believe the Astros have the advantage in hitting, defense, bullpen, coaching, experience, and an overall better team. Excited for Tuesday! Astros in 6!
