You are mistaken, New Orleans is a town of 400,000 people. I named one school, the most recent winner. (Or one of the most recent) There are several large schools throughout the city that I didn't have to name because only one would be needed. St Augustine (Tyrann Mathieu and Leonard Fournette) is a big private no one in this area would wanna see. Archbishop Rummel is another one that has giant athletic monster white kids. They are beastly. You don't know the culture of the city and thats ok. New Orleans has open enrollment yes but people in large part go to the schools of their neighborhood or ward just like most people in Texas do. If you travel to school that is usually private or a specialty school. No one is traveling to put their kid in the school in the other side of town when the one next door will do. Its open enrollment yes but dont overthink it. This is a city. Not a town with one school. its not that serious tho, i wasnt answering to argue on the forum. Thats for when the season starts lol

#1 I’ll have to stop you there since I live here. For its size LA high school football contributes to more NFL talent per capita in the u.s.. #2 Texas colleges are heavily invested in LA athletes. I’m a Texas insider and have very good knowledge of what TCU, A&M, the longhorns want. A lot of it from the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area. So the state of Texas in interested in its talent. #3 Edna Karr alone down the street would mop ALL of southeast Texas and that’s including my brother team, wo-s, WB, you name it. Doesn’t St Pius X of Houston do “outreach” in urban areas and offers scholarships? Sounds like recruiting to me. If they don’t then let me know. I do know that its a always been speculated Coach Smith said. "It's like an AK- 47 against a butter knife," Smith said. Kelly's not producing (or recruiting) D1 talent like St. Pius X or other teams in its district. Also, as Smith mentioned, participation numbers are low and the losing of the past five seasons haven't helped that. -got that from Shapiro im done, no hard feelings. I still love Texas football.

I wouldn't take it to heart. He's trolling. He barely comes on here but to talk smack every blue moon.

I mean ESPN has him ranked as their #2 dual threat and the 90th overall player in the nation. So....there goes that point. You could’ve googled that though. Don’t make it too easy bro. Be an informed hater at the very least. ESPN is the site that literally ranks him the highest. Too easy. You slipping.

Who are Southeast Texas' best returning linebackers?
RoschonsBigBro replied to DannyShapiroBE's topic in High School Football
Looking through these lists, I really wish we could have played memorial, United, and WO-S as our predistrict! -
Aint nothing wrong with competition. memorials D is fast from side to side. Front 7 has speed and tackles pretty well. Hard to run but if you can run a bit you can open up passing lanes where you can win more easily on the back end. If you don't have balance, plays, and players to counter that speed, prolly not gonna have a good day on O. Its good playoff D experience though while in district if you can earn a spot.

Lets Talk district 9-5A-1 Football
RoschonsBigBro replied to BlackShirts5's topic in High School Football
Port Arthur should win district and have a lot of momentum. Will playing games you are expected to win all season help or hurt in playoff time is yet to be seen. I just wish shug could play them one more time. A defense like that makes a qb better -
Who are SETX's best returning running backs?
RoschonsBigBro replied to DannyShapiroBE's topic in High School Football
Deslatte needs 1000 this year at minimum. Anything more is bonus. 1000 yard rushing minimum should be enough run support. -
Who are SETX's best returning wide receivers?
RoschonsBigBro replied to DannyShapiroBE's topic in High School Football
Westbrook has like 4 wrs on here! The kid we have on here had like 5 catches last year. Can WB spare a WR or two lol jp Step it up this year this year PNG! Stand out with your play and effort! -
I'll go with WOS, their 2016 could actually score consitently. Jack dallas could at least run a balanced offense, in addition to the best defense. Last year WOS would beat you just running and with D. But idk man. Last year Carthage balled

Guess I'll have to order one

Who are SETX's best returning quarterbacks?
RoschonsBigBro replied to DannyShapiroBE's topic in High School Football
I just want em both at UT. Elia is a 4 star athlete when at his best and a 3 star in his sleep yet they don’t have him with anything. He would be a great athlete pickup that would project to one hell of a wr from what the people I’m close to say. I always bring him up. I would love for him and Barlow to team up with Shug. Unfortunately Barlow gets more attention out of state and Elia doesn’t seem to be on many radars when he deserves it. I try to ram the idea of both guys though I’m telling ya. Maybe a UT coach will read the forum who knows! For Elia to be that talented and not have anything, something must be off. People know who he is, both scouts and recruiting news outlets so that isn’t the problem. When I talk to the Texas recruitment coverage guys, they are fully aware. There are 4 and 5 star recruits who have done less.
