  1. Last year at MCM I was confused as to why some of the guys looked like they had slid through mud, because all the grass I had walked on that day was dry. Home field advantage. Smart, I would do it too.
  2. Morgan has several years of experience at the high school and collegiate levels as both a player and coach. The Port Arthur, Texas native was an All-American and Academic All-American placekicker in addition to a three-time team captain at Grambling State University from 2001 to 2004. He helped the Tigers earn two SWAC Championships in 2001 and 2002 and was a three-time All-SWAC selection and a two-time All-American. Morgan’s name is etched in the SWAC and national recordbooks as he’s the all-time leading scorer amongst SWAC kickers and the career record holder with 50 field goals and single-season field goal leader with 18. He also led Division I-AA following the 2001 campaign with 18 field goals and finished as the I-AA all-time leader with 197 extra points. Once his career came to a close following the 2004 season, Morgan served as a student assistant on the Grambling State coaching staff. With Morgan’s assistance, the Tigers finished the 2005 season with an 11-1 overall record which culminated with a SWAC and Black College National Championships. This was from the Prairie View Website. As an HBCU grad and someone that works at one, I love that he graduated from and coached at HBCUs. Titans will make big moves going forward.
  3. I dont know if the speed has changed but they are a bit more aware of the ball and tackle better, all you can ask for when you look at last year
  4. I know nothing about this district but i'll stick with the hometown for all the games this year. I think this year could be a special year at PAM
  5. Hopefully he ends up a longhorn. Texas currently leads his recruitment. We will see though. Zachary Evans. Katy has Deondrick Glass at rb who is also super highly ranked in 2019.
  6. This thread....is it time for the game yet?
  7. Yeah, if you can throw, you will give them fits. Livingston, as poo as theyve been has been able to throw somewhat so i guess thats why they've beaten Lumberton
  8. You guys know better than me, thats why I asked. If so, Lumberton better strap up
  9. Ive been reading for 2 years and thought that said mom too.
  10. No more Drapers coming down the pipeline? That kid was a beast.
  11. I don't see how Lumberton doesn't win district, this is a step down. No more PNG, Nederland, Vidor and Memorial to hold you down. How do they not win this? Livingston has been poopoo with cheese on a sourdough bun, so unless its superstars moving in, i don't see it. I always assumed once Lumberton dropped they would finally be able to compete a win a DC.
  12. Anybody know what happened to class99indians from 2 years ago????? he was a trip! I miss the guy!
  13. Well said, good luck to ur team and your boys, until mcm!
  14. It’s a private school yes but they have stockpiled Houston area talent like a public school can’t. It is indeed handpicked to a big degree to me. They beat 5a and 6a level schools regularly even though they are like 2-3a in size. It would be like if Kelly has to resources to offer and secure kids like Roschon, Elia, Barlow, brown, kary Vincent jr type guys all on one team. Their QB could break the national record for td passes this year. He throws about 65-70 a year. You will see. In fact, a good percentage of the top schools in the nation are private schools who use similar formula of recruiting and offering to kids who normally couldn’t afford but have the talent. Mater Dei, Bishop Gorman, don Bosco, Jon bosco, IMG, etc... they just do it better.
  15. I would like BUT to win lol but I just dont see this one being close at all. Gunnel just gonna sit back and throw rainbows. I will say this though. The kid, Gunnel, isnt the toughest kid out there. I know about that through these competitions and elite 11. Maybe if you can bust him up for some sacks, you might slow him down. Your really have to be on the board nearly every possession when you play them because they wont call off the dogs and will keep puttin points up.
