12U coach to be announced shortly after all the buisness is taken care of. I think they have around 12 or 13 kids but may be looking for one or two "key" players in the next few weeks. The 10U team is still looking for kids but WILL have a team built shorty. The 10U group will have some more tryouts in the next few weeks. Keep watching for the dates. The Young Guns Softball Organization will be having tryouts to form new 10U and 12U Teams. The teams will be made up of first and second year age players. We will have one team per age group. I have had many calls and emails to start this team so here ya go. The tryout will be held for both age groups at 1:00 this Sunday 1/29/12 at the Orangefield Highschool Softball fiield. The teams will join our already existing 14U and 16U/18U teams in the Organization. They will also have exclusive rights to all hitting facilities and practice fields for free and they will also be sponsored by Baden Sports. Sorry you did not get the replies you were looking for. Slow time of year for the older age groups... I think you were needing info on 14U, 16U and 18U.... Would also help if you would post what type of "select" team you are looking for. The 16U Young Guns will be playing next weekend Sept. 24 and 25th in the McNeese Cowgirl Classic and are looking for a 16U or 18U pick up pitcher for that weekend. Will be great college exposure. Give us a call at 409-658-9669

Congratulations to the 16U Young Guns for Winning the 2011 16U IFA Texas State Championship. These girls went undefeated in bracket play to keep the championship here in South East Texas. Thanks for the hard work and dedication!!!!

We are looking to start a CO-OP this summer for High School softball players. It would be simular to what they did last summer in Jasper but hopefully we can get more Highs Schools involved. All of the details have not been worked out because we are waiting to see how many groups will want to play. Games will most probably be on week nights only , depending on field availability. 14U Young Guns and Orange Crush Shug in Sugar Land... Around 30+ Quality Teams in that one.....

He didn't even start the second half after a great first half.....???????????? Also....a highschool team could have made adjustments against LC. The highlight of the first half was the dunk.....everything else was sloppy on both ends. Mike played great....hope to see him on the floor more!!!
