Standing room only at Deer Park. Agreed, KP showed great class. I wish we could bring back more of the old school respect for your opponent and less of the trash talking that is becoming more common in high school baseball. These teams had genuine compassion for each other. Also, props to the Clear Springs Chargers for showing up to be there for their Santa Fe neighbors. Classy Good luck to KP as they advance.

When Tarkington puts it all together, they are pretty good. They played Cleveland tough for a half, the first time, but Cleveland pulled away. From what I heard, the Horns got on a roll late in the game and converted a rebound with :45 to play to seal the win.

Cleveland will only continue to get better. New coach is a class act and has his team starting to figure out his system. The second round should be fun to watch.
