Holy Cow! That didn't last long.

Cleveland lost a student (young lady) yesterday in an auto accident. Thoughts and prayers from your neighbors on the Prairie.

Lots to be excited about in both towns. I would caution Horns fans to temper your enthusiasm just a bit (42 would be a ton against this defense). A win over Cleveland would be huge, no matter the score. At the end of the night, somebody is 1-0 and somebody is 0-1. They have a very good team and it will be a measuring stick for where the Horns are as a program. Best of luck to both and hopefully it will be a hard fought, injury free game.

Most interesting game of the opening week of district, this game will tell a lot about both teams.

Just curious what makes Hardin the favorite, other than Tarkington's rough football history, if anything?

Kid that relieved for BC was nails, very impressive. Wind left Huffman's sails with the two unearned runs in the third, can't beat a squad as good as BC with 5 errors. End of a super high school career for Listi, wish him the best at DBU. Cards have a solid club, hope they go all the way.

Wow, I wouldn't have thought that the list would have been released until all of the district teams were finished with their seasons.

So, does this become a one gamer, since they didn't get a game in by Friday night?

After today's games, Splendora over Liberty and Tarkington over Shepherd, the third spot will come down to Liberty having to beat Coldspring on Friday and then beat them again in a tie-breaker. Congrats to Splendora and Huffman.

That kid is going to be special before he is done, he is very impressive. Good win for Liberty, tough one for Shepherd. Crazy year thus far in 22-AAA.

Northside won 8-4, they have some good pitching.

Really hope we don't get all the rain predicted for the next week or so, the start of district games for some might get pushed back or stacked-up, no bueno!
