  1. Gotta take a minute to give props to Diboll. Early in the year they didn't even look like a playoff team. Coach Trotter did a phenomenal job with these guys and made a deep run that very few could have seen coming.
  2. 105W to 59S to 242W, the only traffic should be at 242 and 45. Any time you go near the Woodlands you can expect some traffic, but it's probably your best bet.
  3. Yes, one tonight and two Sat., if necessary at Magnolia. Game two will start at 10:00.
  4. Several of the Trojans played on their football team and I think that they take the same approach to baseball. They expect to win and don't really care what anyone else thinks. They play their game and usually execute when they need to. Congrats to Coach Sewell for having them ready. Should be an interesting finish to this series, HF will not go down easy, if at all.
  5. If that scenario did play out, who would the winner of the coin toss face?
  6. Not like Wig ever needs much motivation to get himself or his team fired-up, but now I'll really be interested in how this one turns out.
  7. Nope, the one that I would know didn't get it. I was wondering if they made a dicision yet.
  8. Guess Nac-a-no-where just got a little better. Sorry Beaumont. Glad to have Mr. Ford aboard. Axe 'Em
  9. Liberty and Tarkington are cancelling sub-varsity games and bumping up to 4:30 and 6:00.
  10. He lit it up from three-point range for the Magic for years. James Scott wound up going juco.
  11. They've had some studs, best I've seen personally was Tuffy, but my trusted source tells me Boo Davis, Alfred Fro Smith and Craig Lillie were better.
  12. A little harsh there on the outcoached, those guys got the most out of those kids for every game but two this year. Just so happened that one was for all the marbles. Much props to Carthage O-line, they won the game. Trey Cooper was pretty much a non-factor and I can't remember the last time that was the case. Obviously the turnovers hurt, but that O-line was even better than expected. Congrats to Carthage, well done and congrats to the Trojans, one hell of a run.
  13. Looked like dirty was a two way street from where I was sitting.
  14. Shame on you beechnut for not supporting your district. #12 for BC is maybe the toughest kid I've seen this year, he took a beating and kept on ticking. Hate that it got ugly in the last few minutes, but BC put up a good fight, better than the final score indicated. Sherm is FAST!
  15. Planned on just listening to a quarter or so, but couldn't leave the room after I started listening. After setx feed went out I switched to the Huffman feed, good job by both. Wish this game would have been on Friday night, but oh well. This game was what high school athletics is all about. Congrats on a great effort Silsbee and way to represent 22-AAA Huffman.
