Watched the game. you left it all on the field.. the two point conversion was like a coin flip. i would have had everyone stacked to stop the big back or quarterback, their coach don't mind throwing the dice, anyway,you played a heck of a game. you made SETX proud. JMO

Woodville was out-coached and took a good ole fashion butt whoopin. I hate to say it, but we may have needed it. Woodville was much more athletic than Grandview. It's amazing how much a well-coached QB and brilliantly designed offensive scheme can do for a team. Well done Grandview. I like them over Franklin next week.
 
How were the last three years wasted though? This staff has given several young men free rides to college, completed the first ever undefeated regular season, doubled our number of total playoff wins, broken our record for total wins in  a season twice, won 3 straight district championships, won 22 straight district games, and SHATTERED every rushing record but single-game yardage. There's more but you get my point. Look at a more broad view. State championships should be every team's seasonal goal, yes. But sending kids to college and keeping them off the streets is far and above a more rewarding accomplishment. We've got alot of work to do, but we're headed in the right direction for sure.

Nolton ran for 2 TD's and Kam ran for 2 and passed for 1. I wouldn't be surprised if EC had over 600  yds of offense. Crockett probably over 500

We have a very athletic fresh and soph classes. I hope they are starting to buy into the coaching.  These boys have had a few years of drama and excuses.  I think they are finally starting to realize they have to put in the work.  I think there is still some work to do in that area but things are starting to click and will start to improve.  

Agreed. RB White had some good runs early, but EC made some adjustments and pretty much shut him down. Hardin did go to the air a little more in the 2nd half after getting down by several scores.
Hardin will lose to Woodville, Buna and Orangefield. Have a chance to beat Anahuac and Kirbyville.

Mark Waggoner DC at Waco-Midway has been recommended to the board. Waggoner was a coach at TAPPS Waco Reichner. He was released by Reichner and suspended from coaching by TAPPS. He was suspended for illegal players and paperwork problems, according to source.

They always have something to say.  Sutherland has been known to have a thing or two to say as well.  Ray Charles could have seen next year’s run coming last year though. 

Every opportunity...just couldn’t finish! Great season Bucs, that was two of the top 5 maybe top 3 teams in the state. Good luck Jarrell!
