EC by 5 tomorrow. This reminds me of the 2018 regional final EC vs Crockett. Crockett was a good team who pulled off the win over Coldspring, who was the favorite. LRA upset New Waverly tonight, most people’s pick to win the region. Should be a good one. LRA has some good athletes, but just think EC is the better basketball team. Especially at the pace this game will likely be played at.

You may be right.  Sometimes it’s more about matchups than anything and I’m sure CH has improved.  But I also know EC has.  Either way, can’t imagine it will be close by the second half.  

It is entirely up to EC if it's less than 50. Yes your right about match ups but when CH has no ball handlers well that's a bad match up.

Agreed and kudos to both coaches for making this game happen.   Should be a great tune up with a playoff-type atmosphere.   Here’s to a competitive, injury-free game. 

We are comparing apples to oranges. Both teams are VERY good, this is going to be a great matchup. EC has bad loss to Canton, other than that both teams have managed their schedule as well as could have been expected. Each team has a very good chance to both be holding that trophy with gold medals around their next in about 3 weeks. 

Yep.....Thanks for the matchup. Just wish it wasn't 3 1/2 hours away. No way I can make the game. I expect a close game, with EC making a late run to win by 10 with free throws at the end. EC is known for running and pressing, but this is the second group of kids to come through EC that are really special at it and are really deep. Even teams with good guards get uncomfortable against this press and because of that, tams have to keep best 5 on the floor while EC is playing 8 with no drop off in effectiveness. By the end of the game, teams are just worn down. Will be a great test for Shelbyville. Really wish I could see the game...........

I can guarantee Sutherland is going to do everything to win this game. 

Purely from a matchup perspective.  But it’s tough to say until you see them matched up.  The only result that would surprise me would be a Shelbyville blowout.  Any other result I could see.  My guess is EC by 5-10.   Six seems like a good line.  

Well I can promise we will play to win although the reason we are playing goes far beyond winning. We need tested and East Chambers and Coach Sutherland will prepare us for the playoffs. As you can tell by looking at our schedule we do not shy from great competition. The boys wanted to play this game, it was their decision and they are all in( as usual). Should be a great game and I enjoy all the support of high school basketball.
