    10-20 as a district

  2. I think it’s a toss up between lumberton LCM and splendora. That fourth slot is hard to pick, but I’ll take BC. At least the district will see some wins once district starts, after all, someone’s gotta win. Why isn’t anyone in the district playing this week? Did they all schedule the same bye week?

  3. I am just a Texas High School football fan. I usually try to follow the top teams from a few districts in the Area. I was doing my research on games to watch this season and in this district the only game I think I would care to see is the LCM-Lumberton season finale if it was for the championship. I think I will head to Crosby and WOS next week. Still looking for good games in the area this week.

Woodville is 21 in the state and they have Jasper 5th. I honestly think that any the teams we played would beat splendora and there first 3 teams they have played..

Now that you mention it... Woodville, Jasper and WOS would probably run through this entire district as well as each opponent this district has seen. Back to the original question... Is there a weaker district in 4A?

Will district 11-4A, no matter who it is, win a single playoff game?

And it is not like they are playing up in classification either, schedules are average at best.

LCM did play WOS...so I give them a pass there. Splendora I believe played a 5A school (a school that is now 0-2). But that is the extent of the competition this district has seen thus far.

    Rookie post,dude it was a skunk,21-0 w/5:22 left 2nd qtr.Dayt takes foot off the wildcats neck.Allowed 6 tds in 2 scrimm/2 games lmao

"Rookie post" Then cites touchdowns scored in scrimmages...

And heck, if they had their foot on the necks of the wildcats that's probably another flag that should've been thrown, how unsportsmanlike?

Not the best in the world but good enough to go undefeated in our district. And that's with another key player moved up to the varsity squad.

I thought they didnt have enough Varsity jerseys in Dayton to move anyone else up with the record setting number of seniors...

  8. Dayton JV was solid, but not great. They didn't have to be though, Splendora couldnt get a snap much less a score. Second half was 8-0 as both teams cleaned up their sloppy first half play.

Excited for Crosby and BH and I will be excited when Crosby Dayton week rolls around. Dayton fans, dont shake the tree and wake the cougar.
