I am hoping & praying, literally, that we go outside the area for a new head coach.  NOT Beaumont, not Port Arthur, not even Port Neches Groves.  We need a coach who's only knowledge of PNG is that they have winning tradition going, and that coach should desire to do everything in his power to keep that tradition alive.  Home town boys may be friends with administration, or school board, but there is no place for that in hiring a head football coach.  (Anyone remember the Tim Owen years at PNG.  (He was well liked, a great guy, a great assistant, but not a great head coach.)
 
Bring in the outsider that wants to prove himself in this new competitive district!!!🏈

If they bring one of there beer drinking buddies in and they fail there will be hell to pay next election. 

Well, good luck to Coach Faircloth on his new position at Sulphur Springs! Hopefully a new coach will come in and carry on the tradition for PNG!

I remember on the PNG side at that game we had a sign that said "FOR NOISE WE HAVE FANS, NOT CANS!"

He’s applied for other jobs in the past, which is pretty common. The last one being Lucas Lovejoy. That process was very public. He’s from Brownwood so moving to North Texas would’ve made sense. 
My only issue is we’re going on two weeks of people saying they have sources and know he is out. I’ve received messages saying he’s been forced out, been fired and been reassigned. I’ve even been told he notified the team. Yet he’s still there. Players haven’t been notified. Coaches haven’t been notified. 
People in the “know” have said it’s one guy. Then it became two. And I’ve been told around seven guys now.
The story keeps changing. The superintendent says there are a bunch of bad rumors. Most coaches take time to consider their next step after the season.
Just let it play out. Rumors aren’t helping anyone.

Per athletic office at Northwestern, in the state of Louisiana, stadiums have the right to enforce face mask rules at all games. Everyone needs to make sure to bring a mask in case we are required to wear one.
Also reminder the Christmas Festival is going on near stadium.  LEAVE EARLY!!!

And don't forget that PN-G Fans greatly appreciate the Nederland team losing that game, just for us! LOL😆

I think this will be a very good game and feel both teams will be ready. I hope and pray for no player injuries.  I feel with what I saw last with with PNG, I feel they will come away with the "W!"

Whoever executes their offense the best wins this one.  Turnovers will kill any team.  In this game they are doubly bad.
This is another potential score fest game if PNG Offense can protect the QB.  Praying for no injuries on either team, and, of course, no rain!!!

Sounds like great football weather to me! Last year they didn't play all that well in the cold so let's hope that's still the case this year,  go indians!!!

I would love to see the sweep. I think it's all about matchups . Some teams match-up better with teams as with others. Last year was crazy as png beat Ned played Fort bend Marshall to a 7pt loss with a defense that was as bad as they come. Crosby lost to Nederland which I was shocked. This year BH got a bad call against Crosby should have beat them. Lost to png lost to Texas City but then punishes Fort Bend Marshall. Crosby wipes the field with PNG two years in a row goes on to finally have a Cinderella season and goes to the big Dance and gets squashed. PNG according to Dave Campbell wouldn't make the playoffs yet here we are. I don't put much stock in rankings never have. Nederland was ranked number 5 at one time and this was a big fubar. You ask me it's all about matchups plain and simple. I wanna wish our district all the best this weekend. Let's go out there and prove them wrong again. Anything can happen on Friday nights.
