Nederland has a real shot in this one.  Dawson's running game vs. Nederland's front 7 should be a great matchup.  If the Dogs can avoid turnovers they can knock off the #1 team in the state!

I usually cheer for all of the 19-4a schools after the 1st round, but a few posters on here are making that pretty difficult.  In only one year in the district I'm already putting them in the class with Friendswood as a team I hate just because of a few loudmouth fans.n  I think if I was playing an unbeaten Georgetown team, I would be focused on them and not another team that I won't possibly play for 2 more weeks.

Dawson has a pretty highpowered offense with majority of their yards coming on the ground which plays into Nederland's strength.  Running Back James White is an A&M commit and has over 2,000 yards rushing on the year.  Nederland's D will be tested.  Dawson has played in some close games, so it's hard to say they are unbeatable.  Any Goose Creek fans that can give us a scouting report?
