  1. If I had to pick a team right now, I would take Florida to win the whole thing.
  2. They need their own tv show...
  3. Maybe not. 4-0 Gators after 1
  4. Florida v Florida St coming up next. That should be a good one.
  5. Virginia takes game 1- 5-3 Virginia scored 5 runs in the 8th to take the lead.
  6. 17-3 Arkansas leads now This is almost as bad as the Texas Bowl
  7. Arkansas is putting it on #8 national seed Missouri State 12-3 in the 8th Virginia leads Maryland 5-3 in the 8th
  8. Haven't seen the video yet, but here's some Twitter comments @masonsanderz8: I never knew interference was a fielder jumping around a base runner. Miami baseball flops harder than the NBA. VCU should've scored 2. @johngeethree: I just saw the worst call I have ever seen in the VCU/Miami baseball game. Gutless, joke of a call and it could cost VCU the game @jtm2588: Probably the 2nd worst call I've ever seen in baseball in the VCU and Miami game. Could very well decide the game in favor of Miami.
  9. Miami won the first game 3-2 with a little help from the umps from what I'm hearing. Did you see it King? Virginia and Maryland still tied at 0 in the 4th
  10. Today's Games: 11:00 a.m. VCU @ Miami ESEPNU 3:00 p.m. Maryland @ Virginia ESPNU 3:30 p.m. Arkansas @ Missouri St(Game will be in Fayettenam, but MoST is home team I believe) ESPN2 6:30 p.m. Florida St @ Florida ESPN2
  11. Culls? Now that's funny right there Would you like to compare Texas commits that had offers from A&M and vice versa?
  12. Busted our bubble in recruiting? What about the 5 grade risk that may never step foot on campus including one that is intentionally failing to get out of his LOI?
  13. Correct me if I'm wrong, but ND can not block anything because he has graduated. This isn't a normal transfer. Oh well, I guess Charlie will say whatever he needs to keep the fans believing he is actually trying to improve the offense.
  14. This is how I got tickets. Thanks TCU15 [Hidden Content]
  15. Core Values only apply to the players....
  16. I think a lot of the double standard is the perception of the big rich universities taking advantage of poor HS kids. Social media has totally changed the recruiting game and made these kids superstars before they even enroll in school. It's funny how right after those first recruiting rankings come out during sophomore year the top recruits gain 10,000 Twitter followers. If Lampkin is really intentionally failing a class in order to avoid going to Texas that sets a bad precedent. It's pretty smart on his end, but may open up a whole new can of worms in the future. He made it pretty clear he wasn't happy that Charlie lied to him about Rumph leaving 2 days after signing day. Maybe this is his way to get back at them.
  17. LSU golf also won the National Championship earlier today if you were wondering.
  18. McCullers with a complete game 4 hitter allowing only 1 run. He is going to be a good one. He hit 98 on the gun tonight and throws a changeup that usually sits around 89-90. Astros scored 3 runs on 3 solo Homeruns and only had 1 other hit the entire game. They were 4 for 27 at the plate for a team BA of .148. Oh well another one in the W column.
  19. 5 out of the 8 teams in the World Series and 3 out of last 4 teams standing were all from the best conference in the country.
  20. Florida wins back to back College Softball Titles. $EC dominating another sport.
  21. I guess he's not Texas Strong [Hidden Content] Du'Vonta Lampkin says transcript incomplete, but will UT let signee go? By Brian Davis - American-Statesman Staff June 1, 2015 @ 8:31 p.m. Recruiting is full of wild, almost unbelievable stories. The curious tale of Du'Vonta Lampkin is, shall we say, loco. The defensive tackle from Houston Cypress Falls appears to be tanking his academics just to avoid playing for the Longhorns. Only Texas might not let him go as freely as he hopes. When contacted Monday by the American-Statesman, Lampkin said, "I'm not trying to do any interviews." Asked whether his transcript was incomplete, Lampkin said, "Yeah, that's true." Asked whether he was indeed looking to land at Oklahoma, he said, "Hey, I got to go, man." Click. Whether the three-star lineman stays with his Texas pledge, heads to OU or goes elsewhere is a total mystery. The only thing certain is that as of Monday, Lampkin had not been released from his Texas letter of intent. "Charlie (Strong) and I haven't sat down and talked about it yet," Texas men's athletic director Steve Patterson told the American-Statesman. "Once we get a chance to talk, we'll look at it." This all began Saturday when Lampkin tweeted an out-of-the-blue apology to Texas fans that he wouldn't be on campus this fall. "Texas will always be in my heart but theres (sic) certain obstacles i have to face!" he tweeted. The Cypress Creek Mirror reported that he still had to complete a Spanish course to fulfill his foreign language requirements. Lampkin told the newspaper he didn't want to risk failing the Spanish course and have to enroll in junior college. "If anything, I may land at Oklahoma," Lampkin told the Mirror. "So, as soon as everything dials down, I'm going to contact (Bob) Stoops and see if they have any scholarships available for me." According to the National Letter of Intent program rules, if an athlete is denied admission to the university, then he or she is free to go elsewhere without penalty. The Texas admissions office could delay a decision for weeks, possibly months, and that could keep Lampkin sidelined through August training camp. Or he could even be given provisional entry status at UT. If that happened, all NLI penalty rules come into play, and he could lose a year of eligibility. And according to NCAA rules, coaches at other schools are not allowed to speak with players signed elsewhere.
  22. Complete Super Regional schedule [Hidden Content]
  23. I ordered tickets for the Super in Fort Worth this morning before they announced the game times. I'm going going to be in Fort Worth all weekend but won't be able to make the day games. If anyone is in the area and wants to go to the Saturday game at 2 let me know and I'll get you the tickets.
  24. Vandy has 2 projected Top 15 picks at the front of their rotation and another one at SS. They are built for this type of tournament. Lsu is very good, but they are different than LSU teams of the past. Their speed and aggressiveness on the bases changes games. I like watching them and love the style that they play. I would love to set up a beer booth outside of the Box this weekend. That's a lot of drunk Cajuns in one place.
