@davidubben: Bob Bowlsby said league was in touch with Texas a lot this week. Gave them answers. "They weren't always the answers they were looking for."
Bad weather expected on the East Coast with the hurricane out there. Some game times have already changed. Hopefully they can get all of the games in. Clemson is supposed to be a monsoon
Best case for Astros is to go 3-0 while Angels sweep 4 from the Rangers. That would leave the Astros and Angels tied for the division and Rangers watching on tv. The Astros just need to win all 3 and let the rest work itself out.
I used my lifetime. I was 3 days old in 1979 when the Ags knocked off the #6 team in the country and started their path to a winning head to head record since I've been alive. Texas fans always like to fall back on beating up on a small military school in the 40's and 50's. Whatever makes you feel better about being 1-3 I guess
Al, Jesse, and Quannell will be all over the 40 acres if they fire Charlie after this year. He at least gets 1 more year imo. After that they can go get Saban, one of the Grudens, Cowher, one of the Harbaughs, or Belichick to be the new coach.
A&M had 24 freshman and sophomores in the 2 deep last year and went 8-5 in the SEC West. Those losses included a BS non call on offsides against LSU, and a terrible play call against Mizzou on 4th & goal from the 1 where Spav thought it would be neat to call a TE screen to a guy we never throw to. I just don't remember all of the whining and excuses from Aggie fans.
I'm thinking real hard and most teams have a rotation of players that rotate in and out of the game with the exception of QB and OLine. 2 deep is a pretty good judge of the players that are on the field most of the time.
Since the "team is young" seems to be the motto these days for sip fans, lets look at the number of freshman and sophomores in the 2 deep at some other Big 12 school schools. TT - 17 BU - 19 TCU - 24 OU- 23 tu - 22 Thoughts?
