IMO, Nederland has the best 1-2 punch(Bellow & Laird), and the best depth among all the teams in the district.  They have 5 guys that saw innings last year deep in the playoffs.  That experience should only help the Dogs this year.

[/quote] Who are Vidor's hitters this year besides Hester?  Hester is one of the top players in the district, but they need some young guys to step up at the plate.  Hagler and ??? . Pitch around Trae and you should be able to beat Vidor.

I was looking forward to 2 undefeated teams battling for the district title next week.  Central losing took away some of the luster for this game, but it still should be a hard fought game.  If PNG's defense can take away the big play around the ends, they should win easily. PN-G wins by 10
