  1. Central by far will surprise a lot of people. The kid from Nederland is good but not even close to being the best kid in the district. I think that's very disrespectful and bias to even make that assumption. It was two kids from that district that was all region. Dill and Wesley. The PA kid Wesley is a player. Great size and could shoot it as well. Hefner is not ready to put a team on his back just yet. Maybe in time yes , but not now. You know your good not by just having good games. But having good effective games with great efficiency when teams game plan to stop you. Don't know if he's seen that yet and if he's ready for it. Kasen Harrision will be the guy at central for the next three years. The sky's the limit for him. Don't get caught up in the so called offers. All offers aren't real. The kid from Bush ( Ettienne ) had two offers as a freshman. Kansas state and Texas tech. I know the family well and let's just say he could attend those schools right now if he offered to pay for half. Memorial is definitely the team to beat. The rest of the positions will be filled by coaching. Ozens coach is in his first year, Central coach has had great talent and never really HAD to coach, and this is familiar for English. So the man who gets the most with less should win 2nd place. So don't count English out either. But all in all it should be an interesting year. I can't wait.
  2. Jackson is the real deal. He can score on all levels but not a GREAT SHOOTER!!! great defender and excellent passer. Not sure about the rest of the team but he will be ready. This could be like the silsbee bush game last year. My prediction is Sig will scratch his Kentucky platoon imitation substitution system. It's no scoring on the second group other than bush. Everybody else plays the same. Drive to the basket. If he plays that second team a lot. And they play zone. = SILSBEE LOOSES!!! Big
  3. I was told from a very close source The kid from Cleveland was never ruled ineligible. Where did you hear this.
  4. You must be related to these kids. Or you really like their personality.
  5. You would think so. They play with a shot clock. Also top in scoring and total points. I'm just glad your not the one in charge of giving
  6. What happened to all the EXPERTS!!! God is good !!! No weapons formed against me shall prosper. Great to see they did the right thing. After the horrible experience in Atlanta I'm proud that Southeast Texans did the just thing. Hopefully one day the kid can make something of himself and give back to a community who gave to him. I think we all, no matter what city school or town you live in should be rooting for this kid. Way to go DC 22 5a
  7. Some of you sound like true sports reporter. The Kind that never played but always want tell someone else how or what they should do. We should be celebrating the success that the Golden triangle has had in sports as of late. ( basketball) Without a doubt AAU has had a major impact on the high schools success. Just count the number of kids that has been blessed to receive a FREE education by doing so. If you guys won't say it I will. Great Job Sneed and Dill. This didn't start until they started years ago. A few kids now and then but not at the rate that it's at now. So let's stop saying AAU. Furthermore only idiots speak on what they don't know.
  8. If the kid was trying to go to Kelly. Then had to go to public school how is this recruiting. Help me understand please.
