Damn, you would think we lost if you look at some of these post. Our offense pretty much scored at will and our defense played opportunistic. They got it done when they needed to. Clements QB doesnt pose nearly the threat that SoHo's QB did. If we stop their running game we win period. Milton Howell is a hell of an athlete and he made plays to keep his team in the game.

Ozen has no business anywhere near this tournament. It proves nothing and Ozen already has two easy games against PNG.

Well Proud PNG, McGaffie had WRs running open and refused to pass the ball. On the zone read option he never gave the ball to the RB even though the entire defense played him. The coach called a horrible game offensively. On every 3rd and long he called a flair pass play to the slot WR that lost yards. On 4th and 1, down 20 to 0, in the 4th quarter GP's coaches decide to punt. Galena Park's coaching staff sucks.

Their offense is pretty good, it starts and stops with the QB, he's a scrambler. Their problem will come on defense. They give up 317 yards a game and havent played anyone with an offense as balanced and explosive as West Brook's. If we take care of the football, the Bruins should win going away.

Maybe someone should tell the team that their opponents are saying your coaches need to be fired, so the Pirates can get that type of effort on the field.

I dont know about the JV QB, but the Freshman team had a kid that has all the talent and potential to be a very good QB. He was short, but had a cannon of an arm and could run like the wind. This kid is a future star.

Katy is the No. 1 5A team in the state and rightfully so, but there are some chinks in that armor. Cinco Ranch had some big plays in the running game and Hastings had some big plays in the passing game. Katy has yet to face a team that does both well. West Brook does both very well. Im not saying that we would beat Katy easily, but I am saying that we would be a very formidable opponent for the Tigers.

I have seen several teams this year in person and on tv. I believe when our team is playing up to their talent level and potential they are capable of beating any team in the state. I think this team is better than last years and should make some noise in the playoffs.

It looks like WB would have to play South Houston in the first round.

As long as our offense does what they have been doing all year we will put some points up on Humble. Our defense just needs to play assignment football and they will be fine. Last year Humble killed us with misdirection plays. Humble cant pass to save their lives so we should be fine as far as our secondary goes. I think we win relatively easy. WB 35 Humble 10

Doesnt this years team have 4 or 5 starters that are transfer players? I know Randle is from Ozen for sure. If Kelly played UIL wouldnt those kids have to go back and play for their original school?
