2.
shoulda been suspended for the rest of the series IMO
It just blows my mind the way he did it... He knew exactly what he was doing. He even continued to hold Barea's face in his grasp with the refs running towards him. That warrants AT LEAST a suspension and a fine.

 4. Well deserved. Should have a fine too. Can't go playing like a mad man just because you're pissed you're team is playing horribly.
 5.
I seen it suspension is coming this can't get any better
Phil Jackson thinks he willl be too.. We should find out sometime today.
 6. Don't know if you guys saw Game 2 tonight.. Artest just tried to purposely rip JJ Barea's face off at the end of the game. Still the same ole Artest deep down.
Anytime you sell out of anything, you are doing something right.
Obviously SHSU doesnt have this problem, bu if they did I would hope they would at least be willing to look at opening more lots as long as people were still lining up to pay for spots...

I think with all the money they'd make from selling more lots as tailgating sections, it'd be worth the added cost of providing security. So add this into the already horrible problem of the parking shortage on campus.
I don't go to Lamar, but I'm pretty familiar with the campus.. There is not that much available room to add new parking lots anywhere near the stadium. Their best option would be to go "Big School" with the addition of a couple of parking garages to save space while still creating parking options... That's what all universities do now.. And Lamar IMO has no other option to address the need of parking.
Im not saying build new lots.  Im saying open more lots up for tailgating.  As long as the people are standing in line to pay for it there is no reason people cant tailgate all over the place.  Similar to UT tailgates that go on in lots all over downtown for blocks away from the stadium.
True, there is open areas around campus. The downside is the amount of cleanup that would follow. If you notice, UT's tailgate areas are off campus, so the city cleans it up. On campus would be LU's workers.

It will hurt the La schools, but they should manage to hold on. The SLC is not dying, it looks to be getting stable. The schools that want out is leaving and those who want stay will join those who want in; UCO and ACU.
Don't forget Tarleton, they're an option as well. Solid facilities and winning programs across the board.
Tarleton talked about moving up, but they seem to be backing off. West Texas might attract some from the Amarillo market especially if they move a few home games to Amarillo. Good read, [Hidden Content]
They could compete for an SLC Title year one... Those guys up there can play some football.

 10.
Are bad right now.  the offense is tame, and the bullpen is AWFUL.  they've continued to get good starting pitching, but with them scoring only a couple of runs a game, and the bullpen giving up at least 1-2 runs a game, they don't have a chance right now.  they BADLY need Hamilton back, but even more so they need Feliz back.  Since their 9-1 start they're something like 5-12, and the bullpen just blew two more leads in the same game, so unless they rally in the 9th they're going to lose another one.
I think most people would say the bullpen has been the major downful. They lost Ogundo to the rotation and with him the bullpen would've been great. They need to go out and get a solid reliever in a bad way.
 11. Here are the final standings for the regular season... Navarro, Angelina, TK, Panola all in the tourney. Story Lines of the Season from my point of view 1. Lon Morris with a 22 game win improvement from last season, breaking school records in conference wins and overall wins. ;) 2. TK starts hot, simmers down towards the end of the season. 3. Angelina makes it yet again. 4. Northeast doesn't make it. 5. Navarro won every close game (1 or 2 run) to win the regular season title. 6. Everyone won basically every week.. No down team in the entire conference. Had to come to play every day.
For all returning players that have committed to play and haven't signed up: Please go by Sanderson's on Hwy 69 this week and see the hostess, she will have the forms for you to complete.
Random question Coach, but is that place any good? Drive by it every time I head up to the ballpark there but have never stopped.

 15. I think it's pretty funny that Lamar has had a program again for 2 years now, and is getting more respect about moving up than a program like Sam Houston that has had a program in place for so long now. lol
 16. LU wins Game 3 10-5. Beaumont native DD Lott got the start and win today for the Cards.
 17.
I missed the game beech, what happen to Lee?
Angel Sanchez and Lee ran into each other converging on a flyball.. Miscommunication and somehow Lee ends up hurt out of that combo?  ???
 18.
Probably talking about Lamar upset of Baylor in the 80s.
Wasn't Lamar an FBS program at that time?
 19. LU down 2-1 in the 8th. But they have the bases loaded and no one out with Mena at the plate.
 20. 2 games left in the season, Angelina and Navarro will be playing for a ring this Saturday.
 21. I'm convinced that ACU belongs, baseball wise. Their football stadium is right on par for SLC standards, playing at Shotwell Stadium. Their baseball stadium is above the level of most SLC stadiums, very similar to the Beck minus the turf. I don't know much about their basketball program. UCO's basketball program has been outstanding of late, LU knows that very well as they were close to hiring their basketball HC.
