    Thanks for proving my point.
Daddy payed a lot of money to get his way for his son growing up, so why stop now, right mac?   Last time I checked at a small school the coach better be able to coach multiple sports.  Also maybe your little johnny is not as talented as you think he is. All kids matter but your kid matters most.

Your right my little Johnny is not talented. Instead of answering my question, you want to rant about my kid.  And where in the post did you get that my kid matters most, apparently you don't know me very well then.

Your right a coach does need to coach multiple sports in a small school.  If you didn't understand the comment then I probably can't explain to you.

I can tell that was really hard for you to type. Just give credit where credit is due. Even though you said "Malakoff was the better team," you had to add in THIS day...

You do realize they gave up 2 hits and committed 3 errors in 1 inning for your girls to score, right!?!

Malakoff is young as well. They'll graduate 3 seniors. They'll be back for years to come...

How many errors did Woodville have in the 7th?  I'm assuming 0 the way your talking.

It would have been a Heartbreaker either way.  Both teams are good and both teams have a lot of talent.  When two teams meet, someone wins and someone loses.

So the school should cower to these parents? So only these kids matter? The parents are going to hold their kids out to prove a point to show their power in the community?  Talk about your entailment culture.

JV......why don't you check yourself before you run your mouth.

What parents are holding their kids out?  Also these parents have put a lot of time and money into these kids to get them ready for their High School career.  That was their parents goal, to hand these kids over to a talented coach and sit back and watch these kids play baseball. The parents just want a baseball coach, not a football lineman coach to coach baseball. Is that to much to ask?

All the kids matter. As do all sports, not just football.

If your working hard ALL YEAR, one workout in MAY should not make you so sore you can't walk.

Your right Tigers, I don't know what I was thinking.  These kids probably don't know how to work hard since they were projected to place last in district and came in 2nd place.  I guess you can do that by being a couch potato.

Must be sore from not lifting weights anyway.... I see both sides of the coin...

As do I, point being, when its baseball season let the baseball coach handle his players......they have been lifting, so I don't know if it was the reps or just doing something a little different.

I understand not lifting on a game day, but it was a warm-up game or scrimmage. The new AD is trying to come in and get the program going in the right direction. Buy in or Get out. Woodville has the talent to be good, but you have to be stronger and more disciplined as well!

So lift to the point that most of the players were so sore they could barely walk.....Yes it was a scrimmage/warm-up, followed the next day by a district game for 2nd place.

  7. I watched him throw down his clip board and head to the outfield and never shook the girls hands before or after the game.. The kirbyville girls played a tough game and should be told that..

I was at the game and your almost correct.  He did throw down his clip board and immediately looked for the kirbyville coach and went straight to him, shook his hand and said "good game."

Ask #16 how many hands she shook going across the field and specifically ask her if she shook #7's hand, the opposing pitcher.

But to be honest you don't need to ask her about #7 because I can tell you the answer, No.

As far as Coach Mixon goes, I would suggest you ask around before you start bashing someones character.

With all that being said, I think both teams played a great game.  It also great to see teams from your District go deep into the playoffs and I wish both teams good luck.
