Since the Robin hood act took over, SeTX schools have lost money they would normally have to build or recruit with. Alot of your bigger and more state title schools have money come in from donors. I know PNG is building a indoor practice facility from donations and the Booster club. 

I know of people who will accept a transfer of job location to a more prominent school district area for sports for their kids. I feel alot of people who have very talented athletes hope they can get their kids into a school with a good history of state championships and a higher college recruiting number. Reason is college cost are so high now the only way some of these athletes can get a higher education is thru a college athletic scholarship. JMHO and some folks who I have spoken with. (1 was a friend who offered to transfer to Katy from here so his son could play football for Katy with the hope of a scholarship offer in the future).  His opinion was that players there all seem to get more looks from colleges than from here. My opinion is probably so, but because of their exposure around the country. 

I know PNG will have alot of players returning. They will also have some extremely talented Freshmen playing this year. I know of 2 girls who pitch over 60 MPH right now at age of 14 and 15.(freshman) Very accurate. Have watched both play for years. Should be a very good district race this year. 

I tried to run out to my truck and get a Aleve for a headache and was told, you leave, you pay to get back in. The young lady was not very friendly either. I then leaned back on the concrete wall for a second and she told me to get up and go sit back down in my seat with some serious attitude.  My vehicle was 40 feet from the gate. I really like the stadium and the parking, don't mind the $1.00 to park, but the attitudes are not called for. This is the only stadium I have ever been too that the gate attendants have serious attitudes. Most places will accommodate you with re-entry without having to pay again to get back in.

Its sad that so many talented athlete's from here are going elsewhere and not Lamar. 

OK. So central's D held and they did a fake punt for a TD ?

Well I am sure BF will have McZeal working hard this week on catching passes. Faircloth is very good along with his staff in working up the players. McZeal will get alot more passes and he will be successful. Remember he is only a Sophmore and will only get better. 

Prayers for Giblin. Hope its not a sport ending injury for this young man. Prayer for quick healing. 

No sweat Gabe. Your doing a great job. No one ever said multi tasking was easy. Keep up the hard work.
