Is the PNG game your home coming ?
  2. Surprised they haven't slammed Lumberton as well. Lumberton was a big Klan area back in the 40, 50, 60 & 70's. My uncles neighbor there was the local head Klan member. Talk about some hatred. Its sad a radio personality has to bring up long ago history to make some ratings and get his phone to ring. Here's a suggestion, fight fire with fire. Contact the FOX news corp and let them know what this guy is doing. I'm sure it would bring about some fair play and light to the publics attention. I think that if people will stop and think about what they are saying about Vidor, that it could actually influence the opinions of people outside of the area about all of the Golden Triangle. Vidor in itself is part of the Golden Triangle.
I spend time in Vidor and several of my employee's are Black. They have never had any problems in Vidor working.  I remember back in the 90's when some outsiders created problems in Vidor with racism. Sad that this crap happens and that some nut case on the radio brings crap up like this. I have lots of friends that live in Vidor. I'm sure once they read this stuff they will be very upset.
  3. Peveto from PNG should get some good looks. He is a 3 year starter at Safety. 6'2". Reasons, OL may get some looks at PNG. Big kid, 6'3" about 250ish. should get bigger too. Also, chipman, who started this season as a sophomore at receiver. Tall, 6'3-4" very good hands. He will be a Junior and probably the go to guy for Smith at QB. Our D will have alot returning who either started or got alot of play time. AJ Smith will more than likely be our QB next year. He has a great arm and great accuracy. He is 6'5" and Faircloth has been working with him since he was a Sophomore. I don't think any of these boys have gotten any looks yet.
  4. Riley at PNG, 240 weight class. Beast, a Junior this year. Strongest kid on the team. Squats over 600, dead lifts over 600, benches close to 400.  Last squat without suit and knee wraps was 585.  We also have a few lower class weights that are monsterous as well. Look forward to the BC warm up event this weekend. Love watching all the kids from everywhere. Good luck to everyone out there.
  5. Hard to point a finger at one person or team in this fight. High emotions. Can't say what was right of wrong in this, but the issue at hand is that the 2 teams should never have been allowed to meet after the game. Just glad no one was seriously hurt. Every team will have atleast one or two kids that are very emotional and often times too outspoken. Just takes a small spark to ignite a large fire. All are to blame and whats happened has happened. Move on and get ready for next year.

I thought PNG had some really good freshman coming up. A QB and two RB's that will probably make some noise this year.

The Freshman QB will probably be on the JV unless he is outstanding. The 2 running backs, its hard to say. All I can say is that PNG has some very good talent in the pipeline and the NDN's will be making some big noise !

D should have 6 coming back.

    Was Hebert a junior?
    [/quote]
Yes. Also we have another Mangini who will be a Senior. He was out this last season due to knee injury. He will be our other inside linebacker. 6'1" and 220. There are some other Juniors who played some on the D who will be great players next year.

Servantez (sp) will be another good receiver, kinda like Jalali was. Also some big boys coming up from the JV team to fill in the 2 slots on the O line. If I am not mistaken we will have 3 running backs to play with. All of which are fast, quick and strong. There is another receiver that has some good abilities on the JV who is tall as Chipman.
