2. I don't know where the "not playing the game" rumors came from, but from what i hear...there is not doubt about it, the game will still be played. I was not going to post any predictions about the outcome of this game as I was hoping for a good, close game. Now I think someone has rattled a cage and won't be able to handle what's in it... WOS 42 BC 0
 3. WOW, classless. I can't believe they would post something like that and think it was okay to do so. The hatred has to stop.

Coach won't let up on them.  42-7
Coach T is not like that and especially not against a former colleague in Coach Crouch. He would be content with a 21-0 win (that's NOT a prediction), but it will also be determined by how much of a fight LCM can muster. They did not look good in the scrimmage against Orangefield.
Ok, so maybe it's not coach, but second team won't let up.

They have never beaten WOS.
If WOS wins, it'll be 19 years in a row. Last time LCM beat WOS was 1994. I remember this because my wife and I got married in November of 94 and we listened to this game on the radio. She of coure was rooting for LCM and I told her not to get her hopes up. I was wrong that night, but have been right the past 18 years. ;D
Wonderboy,  since you have been married that long, I know you weren't right more than 20% of the time!!  ;D
The fact that he's been married that long just means that he let his wife believe she was right even when he knew that she was wrong.
Both of your hit it spot on. We gotta let the ladies think they are right so we can keep peace and quiet around the house. ;)

 8. I have a son playing on this LCM JV team. He hasn't gotten much playing time as of yet but like someone else said, it's early in the season. It's hard to see your kid on the bench for an entire game, and I have to believe the coach is seeing something in the guys he has on the field. If your kid has talent, he will have to show it when he gets his chance.
 9.

I remeber in 2000 we had a supposedly "amemic" offense and we rode that defense to the 4A state finals. By the way, are you the same crackhead that said Navasota would put 45 on WOS? In a big game I'll take the better defense every time and that would be WOS. I also didn't say the 'Stang offense would put up 28 pts. I said they would score 28 pts as a team. That doesn't have to all come via the offense. That ballhawking defense is good for a pick 6 or a scoop and score and we are also good at returning kicks and punts for TDs, too. So, let's say WOS got a scoop and score and a pick 6 and kick retuned for TD, which has happened this year, all the offense has muster is one score. I gave y'all credit when I gave you 21 pts. That's more than anyone's scored on them this year. If y'all insist on throwing those bubble screens and WR screens, I can assure a couple of those are going the other way for scores.
If your are referring to me, I am not going to stoop to your ignorance with the name calling... Crackhead?  How mature...  Anyway, did you see somewhere where I predicted such a score?  If so, show me... WOS gets by Lorena by scoring 28 points and by a very average West Columbia by scoring 20 points.  Some of you are very, very delusional.  Navasota ain't even in the same category as Lorena or West Columbia.  Some of you will be in for a real RUDE awakening!
You are also delusional if you think Navasota should even be playing this week, Nav should not have made it past Lamarque.
 10.
These dudes are borderline crazy! Y'all's offensive stats are great and all but mostly because y'all like to run up the score!!! We simply get a lead and get off the gas! We know if we have a lead we win! So therefore no reason to score 60! Our backup qb has took atleast 80 percent of our 4th quarter snaps this season. We do not care about scoring 100 points. We care about scoring 14 or more because nobody has scored that much on us ;)
LOL, love it.
 11.
Everybody underestimates Navasota and everytime they come out on top...Nuff said Navasota-42 WOS-14
Well, all of yall are underestimating WO-S, so what's the difference? 42 pts on WO-S, lay off the bathsalts.
 12. I think the more these Nav fans talk the more pressure they put on their teams shoulders. They already have enough pressure going into this game.  Carrying the #1 ranking and trying to hold on to it is a lot. WO-S has absolutely nothing to lose and no pressure, they will be well prepared. I don't care who beat who by how many points on what night with whatever moon phase was happening, and who's friends with whos uncles cousins brothers mothers first husbands sister-in-law. This comes down to execution on offense, defense and special teams. I very much believe in the old saying.....Defense wins championships Defense will proves itself Friday night....

Daingerfield has the record with 10 right back in '83?
Daingerfield only gave up 6 points all season and that wasn't on their defense. They shut out every playoff opponent. I'm not sure exactly how many they had but I know it's well over 10.
It was more, 14, look at post #225
