  1. Two good games in Lufkin Wednesday wih a split with TC winning 5-3 and Angelina winning 5-4. Conference title will be a dogfight with spoilers playing a big roll in picking the winner. Good to see a slimmer of hope for all teams in both zones with a chance for the prize available for the taking.
  2. TC splits a double header with Navarro College Saturday.  Big hitters for the day were Rob Tasin and Rich Sanguinetti for TC. Next up is Angelina in Lufkin this Wednesday with a battle of the first and second place teams in conference. ( 1 PM start time )
  3. [Hidden Content] Good link on the Panola website to keep up with Region 14 stats. Next up for first place  Texarkana College is Navarro College with Vanderbilt bound pitcher. Ty Parker hitting .422 and several other TC players just behind him as team is getting some injured back that will help depth at several positions.
  4. TC goes to 21-12 with a split with BPCC in Bossier City today. Scores were 11-3 BP, and 8-3 TC. Justin Parson pitches well in  his second straight outing going 7 shutout innings before BP scores 2 in the 8th. Parsons went eight innings for the win. Ty Parker was 4 of 8 with a triple and had 5 rbi as DH and catcher.
  5. TC goes to 20-11 overall and 8-0 in conference after a double header sweep of Paris CC Saturday. Scores were 11-5 and 2-1. The second game went 15 innings and saw  great pitching and good defense by both teams until a hbp, single, and a passed ball give up the winning run. Next up is BPCC on Wednesday in Bossier City.

  7. TC sweeps again with 11-4, and 6-0 wins over Lon Morris in Jacksonville today. Justin Parsons (Jasper ) pitched a complete 9 inning win in game two. In a little over 90 pitches,61 were strikes. Ty Parker was 4/6 in two games with a double and three singles along with 2 walks and a hbp. Texarkana goes to 6-0 in conference with the tough preseason paying dividends now.
  8. Texarkana sweeps Panola in a doubleheader Saturday by 9-8 and 8-2. According to phone tag sources they take over first place in Region 14 North.  TP was 4/7 with 2 doubles and 2 singles and 3 rbi. Currently batting .408 season/ and over .500 for conference. TC pounded out twenty eight hits in the DH today. The offense was really working today. Next up is Lon Morris in Jacksonville next Wednesday. TC is 4-0 in conference play after today.
  9. First conference games and TC sweeps Northeast Texas CC ( top ten team ). TC pounded out 13 hits in each game and hit 2 hr in game one. Justin Parson gets game two win. Next up Panola Sat.
  10. Read on the shag where Kirby may start tomorrow against Texas State. It should be a good game as TxSt is doing well this year and it will have a David and Goliath tone to it. Texas bats are starting to wake up but they can win without them anyway.
  11. Pitching rotation in J town just got deeper. Does that make him the No. 2 pitcher- jk. Great game and hope to see more like that soon like Silsbee/BC and Jasper / Hudson. So many little things that could change a games outcome without ever getting another hit. Both team getting more confident and will both get better as the season progresses. Go Dogs.
  12. 3 games 1 win, DH splits looking better. TC 3 Kellogg 0 LSUE 9-TC 7 LSUE 3-TC 1 Conference games start Wednesday (16 ) for TC.  We should see some type of pitching rotation real soon if injury bug subsides. Let the real games begin. Go Bulldogs - TC and Jasper.
  13. Jasper wins 13-0 over Diboll in 5 innings. Sr. Colton Burleson pitches a complete game with 4 H,3K and only 1 Walk. Jasper had 12 hits with 3 doubles in the 5th inning. Joe Walker with two doubles and 5 rbi. Jasper gave Burleson a lot of support with some good defense throughout the game. A good start to district with Kirbyville up next after the Jasper tournament this weekend Thur-Sat.
  14. Kirbyville up 2-0 after one.  No.22 pitching for Kville
  15. Good job in Jasper with the win over Carthage. Thanks for the updates and coverage for a playoff atmosphere game that might be replayed in May. That makes the next games in Jasper's tournament a lot more interesting and hope to see a few after work.
  16. Two more double headers and TC splits both with Eastern Oklahoma. The only positive with the split DH's is that most all are with teams that are ranked higher than TC.  This weekend 3 games at LSU-Eunice starting with Kellog and LSU-E Friday and Saturday with LSU-E. Conference starts soon and so will the streamed broadcast. Sure miss the Bulldog network with live games and plenty of parents to keep shiftworkers informed. Ball really flying out during BP. TP was 3/6 with 2 doubles and a single, hbp and 4 rbi.  14 rbi for the year so far.
  17. Matt Perdue from Jasper hit his second homerun  last night in Carthage in the 4-1 loss.
  18. TC gets back into the split mode after winning 3 of 4 from Howard. Grayson wins game one 5-4 and TC wins game two 4-3. Ty Parker C,DH goes 3 of 7 ( 3 rbi,1sb ) with a shot off the CF wall for a long single with some baserunning follies. Game one was well within reach but a good Grayson team prevails. Other top hitters were The Woodland's Anthony Azar C,DH and RF Justin Copeland.
  19. I heard it was JR. LF Matt Perdue who hit the homerun for Jasper. Dogs playing well and will win some games this year and get better as the season goes on.
  20. Great job Matt and keep up the good work.  Hard work really does pay off.
  21. TC hosted Howard for a 4 game series and came away with 3 wins out of 4 games. Local Jasper ex Justin Parson pitched 6 strong innings and left for the closer with a 4-2 lead and TC wins 4-3. Parson allowed 4 hits in his outing. In the second game Saturday Parker Ray got the win in the 12-7 matchup. The Bulldogs had 15 hits in the win. Jasper ex Ty Parker was 6/13 for the series with 2 doubles and 4 singles. Kelly ex Landom Stienhagen had a solo HR in game 1 today.
  22. Texarkana split a double header today with the #1 ranked juco team  Howard College. Howard won the first 6-5 and TC won the second game in 10 innings 6-5. The two teams play again tomorrow at noon for two more games. Jasper ex Justin Parson will pitch the second game.
  23. TC and Alvin split in their DH at SFA. Scores were 4-1 Alvin and 3-2 TC. Two HR's hit on the day,one for each team. After about 10 games I can surely say that the new bats are a pitcher's best friend in more ways than one. They will cut down on more neck injuries than contusion injuries.jk Next up for TC is a 4 game series with #1 Howard in Texarkana this weekend starting Friday at noon. Getting tired of splits but another one would look good come Sunday. Should see some velocity pitching for this series.
  24. TC and Blinn split their 4 game series-  TC 3-1,19-12                                                     Blinn 3-1, 3-2 Next up for TC is Alvin on Monday at SFA Field in Nacogdoches at noon.
