When was the last time OF baseball was state ranked! 8)
I know the 1990 team was, not sure if a team has been since then!
it dont matter it wont last long yall lost to livingston an we 10 run ruled them
-
i dont remember him having arm troubles for ever but i know he has tendinitis
-
Bigballer you have know right to say that, you don't know what would happen, both of these teams are great, we have played both teams. Josh Clark is a good pitcher and so is Brandon Hillian , but so is hazelwood and he is not kirbyville's ace, they have a couple good pitchers. Not many guys can hold buna to a one hitter. Hazelwood, should get congrats but honestly hazelwood didnt score all 4 runs it took team work something it seems buna has lost. If you know baseball then you know with two great teams anything can happen. Trophyman or what ever your id is go talk on a 1a post yall played kirbyville after they played another team yall have no chance with either of these 2a powerhouses. :
Brandon Hillian isnt playing at a 100% he's having arm troubles
-
PN-G and WO-S both teams have had some super games over the years
I agree. This would be a really good game. Would have to play at The Reservation because of all the fans that would be there ;D!
i dont really think it would be a good game maybe when yall get back to the way png football used to be it would be a good game

by 4.4's he means 4.6 lol

who pitched for bc?
-
Yeah Matt an Forrest were the only ones to pitch

I've been to several area baseball fields and have seen many of them make upgrades to their fields over the last few years. I was wondering if Bridge City has any plans to make any upgrades to their field. I would love to see them add a brick backstop with the net instead of the old one they have now. We have one of the bestest teams in the area and our kids deserve to play on a better field. Hopefully our new coach has some of these ideals.
Thats funny that you posted this a long time ago now BC has added a brick backstop with the net and a new mound different dirt in the infield lots of grass put in places cant wait to see what the field is going to look like in another year or so

didnt he miss some last year with a arm injury?
-
looking to hicks pitch might pitch against Buna tomorrow could end up being a good pitching game if Buna pitches Hillin an BC pitches Hicks both good BC wins though
-
Nederland will compete to be the top at 20-4A. They are a solid team. Good hitting up and down the order and solid pitching staff. I hope Smith is OK after leaving with an injury.
BC will be fine. Had a few errors which can be corrected. Need some hitting.
herd smith might have torn his acl
-
I think he might be hurt right now if he's not does anyone know Kevin Angelle stats?

-
he was a sophomore people talk about him every year like he's a senior this year he's a junior just thought id let yall know
-
he's not going to pitch

I am serious--I project Joe will pitch quite a lot and he will move to SS when Hicks is on the mound...new Coach new perspective LOL.
I see Massio(sp) as a great Outfielder this year!...new Coach new perspective LOL.
Oh yes, Joe will be All-State at 3rd base this season; but I have seen him Pitch and he is capable of doing an exemplary job.
I think we will all be surprised at the new lineup development prior to District starting. I would guess that no positions are set-in-stone: but what a bunch of talent to try to winnow down to find the best nine in any given situation to have on the field!
These are just my guesses I have no Crystal Ball.
Joe will not pitch this year and he already played short last year when Hicks was on the mound. When have you seen him pitch? Little League, PONY?
Massio...? The only person I can think of you are talking about is Raggio.

Enjoyed watching the Robertson kid last year at Humble in the playoffs. He was the third baseman right? Was he the leadoff?
Yes, he was the 3rd baseman and leadoff.
-
Joe Robertson is one fine Pitcher; fact is, he can do almost anything very well, on a hardball diamond. He would be the Ace Pitcher in a lot of Districts across Texas. Coupled with proven Pitchers-- Hicks and Snyder; plus closers Cessac, Stock and Breaux and others: BC is ready for the Tourneys and also the Playoffs where "depth" can climb the bracket ladders.
A good group of returnees and a host of JV & SOs pouring in will solidify this team by District time. The speed in the defensive outfield will be exceptional this season.
You can't be serious... Joe isn't in the pitching staff, he's not even in like the top 8 pitchers. I'm thinking you meant to put Zoch not Stock lol. Also, the outfield is the worst it has been in a while.
-
not trash talking but im ready for baseball BC doesnt care about basketball we'll just beat yall in baseball
-
you cant honestly say that if you were getting beat by 40 you wouldnt give up and there is something silsbee could have done just hold the ball and play 2 man used to watch ozen do it all the time when they had kendrick perkins just sit at the top of the key if they dont come out dont do anything
-
Didier Ilunga-Mbenga center for the lakers or sheldin williams both just terrible looking lol
