One thing for sure, WO-S band and drill team put on one of the best half time performances I have ever seen. All the people on the Newton side was amazed by their performance. Reminded me of years ago when the red hussars from pt. Arthur took the field.

Last year you said how great you were and headed to state until the second round when you got donkey stomped by Lorena 50 to 6. Not saying you are a good team but you have not proven you are state caliber. How many times have you made it to state? how many times have you made it to semi finals. How many times have you made it to regional.

No matter who WO-S chose as a coach it would be a downgrade. Coach T was the best because he learnt under the best. They were the master and pro o type for all coaches. I would not give up on WO-S yet. Wishing WO-S the best in the future.

A freshman (I think he is a freshman) QB that has exceptionally strong arm and accurate with his throws. I do not think HJ can stay with Anahuac.

It was a good game. Newton had to many holding penalties. Neece had a good game plan. I talked with coach neece before the game and he said his freshman QB will be a D1 QB. This kid is the real deal. Good luck Anahuac in the playoffs.

You might look at the top of this thread and see who started this. Beside from all the BS Anahuac is a quality program and it will be a good game. You have one of the best coaches in tx. -he was our OC when we won state and we would not have won state without him.

Just read in one projection pole where Anahuac is a 15 point favorite. Poor ol Newton we just don’t have much this year. Nothing to see here.
