Congrats to Shannon on the scholarship. I enjoyed watching Shannon play the past 3 years.  Maybe if I can pull myself off the golf course, I'll catch one or two this year.

Congrats to Ozen on a well deserved victory.  Ozen put together another 19 point sprint which allowed them to take and keep control of the game.  BH had an 18-9 lead before Ozen outscored the Eagles 25-6 for a 34-24 lead.  BH tied it a 37 but the Lady Panthers pushed the lead back to 6 and held on for the win.  My MVP of the game was Ozen's #21.  Her play at the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third period gave the Lady Panthers the confidence they needed.  Good luck to Ozen. I posted this photo in another thread and someone asked about a title.  I hadn't thought of a title so I paused for consideration.  As I looked at the photo, this was the thought which kept going through my mind. The photo represents an inherent possibility of a life threatening or life altering injury.  When any mother sees such, I believe her heart skips a beat or images quickly flash through her mind with concern of her own child.  No matter how much the equipment improves, this situation is still a possibility.  It is one of the reasons we pray before a contest begins.  Though we know players may get hurt, we pray no one is seriously injured.  I know this player was able to leave the field on his own but officially I am not aware of his condition.  I pray that he is okay. [/quote] I can't disagree with your comments especially the 4th one.  I enjoyed the game if not the outcome.  I hope all the players are fine and none were hurt too bad.  I know the kids play for the fun of the game and we go to watch and show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.  As my photo below shows, it's only by the grace of God that more severe injuries don't occur.  Good luck to PNG next week.
