Westfield mediocre ??? You must have missed that game FPHS. They would beat Kelly by 50.
-
It looks like the Jags have won 8 of 21 meetings, which means they win one year out of three. I would think they are due. I think Central has more team speed, if they can keep WB out of their backfield.
-
I think Central has a chance as well. Youi are the one who brought up an old score from years ago. Now you say you don't want to talk about history. At least be consistent, please
-
Do you really want to go into records and past history?
-
And, I don't think our "beasts" will be intimidated by Central. They are playoff hardened vets who always run hard.
-
We can only ask them and pay their way? What's the difference Dak?
-
Sounds like a constitutional violation to me. Church functions--ok? Believers, do what you want, everyone else, it's football first. The guy should be fired.
-
I think they need to look at modifying the bats. I watched some pretty weak swings carry out of the park. If high school is limited to -3, it seems that some limit could be applied to little league/pony league etc.
-
I meant japan : They kinda look alike
-
I'm taking the Chinese team to face Texas. Venezuela looks good but I can't pull for them.
-
I don't see how any kids get hits off that 75+ mph stuff at 46 ft. The Lubbock kid also has offspeed pitches. He could pitch for some of the smaller high schools around here. Lots of schools don't have pitchers throwing any harder than that.
-
I agree. Someone could have punched him in once at 4.25, but every watch has a different time. No disrespect meant: a 4.5 is plenty fast.
-
I've seen the guy and he just doesn't have that kind of speed. Be lucky to run 4.5

This discussion needs to stop. Clay and Jay are both GREAT players, and very very good friends. It doesnt matter who runs the fastest, who can throw the hardest, or who can hit the best, they are both very close to a dream. Without injury both will be in the Majors very shortly. So just let it go, but if you need to know and you want to know Clay ran a 4.25 forty and a 6.2 sixty and Jay is right ther with him. If you want praise them great, if you want to cheer for them great, if you want to compare them ok but please do it in the correct manor. After Clay and Jay played each other last sunday night they went out and ate and talked about the furture not about the past, so lets do the same for them and wish them the best.
4.25 forty. He is faster than all the NFL receivers and DB's in this last draft? That's a laugh :

Razor
What do you want me to say? "Great job RIders"? That's just not a real interesting read when everyone says the same thing. It just seems at some point in the season(like maybe when they were 20-3, they would have stepped it on up to open ball(or whatever it's called at that age)
-
You might be right. Come to think of it, a couple of those 12 year olds needed a shave pretty bad last year. I like the kid from California with the goatee.
-
No one is ridiculing kids. My guess is most of your 9 year olds don't read this. This is a parent brag site. You feel free to keep on bragging about AA ball if you want. But when you move to AAA, then we will know if these are the best players in the area.
ps If you dont want outsiders to post, don't put it on here. Call all your buddies and brag to them
-
Sour grapes? My kid plays AAA. He has done AA and he is not even in your age grouping. I'm just saying DAD, hold off on the superlatives until these kids have done something other than 9AA.
-
The Roughriders is a team of some of the best players in Southeast Texas: Carter Henry, Drake Trawhon, Brett Ladner, Logan LeJeune, Montana Berry, Ryan Abel, Jared Hendrix, Jimmy Hendrix, Nathan Vidrine, Colten Hicks, and Cole Geraud. I would have to say these boys had a great season with an ending record of 46 - 9 and several tournament championships. ..
-
I hope Tomball advances also. Then I could really see if the televised radar gun is accurate or not. Our kids faced Tomball three times and I think I saw most of their pitching. None of them throw near 70, but it seems every team in the LL Series has a couple of kids that throw that hard. If the gun clocks the Tomball kids throwing 70, I will know for sure that it's bogus.
-
Tomball has lots of hitters, but their pitching is only average. I expect that they will give up a lot of runs when they run into a strong, deep hitting team.
-
tomball 5 west end 3 :'( :'(
-
Well, West End got beat up pretty bad tonight. Tomball can flat-out hit fastballs. We get one more shot tomorrow, but they are solid.
-
As expected, Tomball beat Deepwater 15-1 last night. West End and Tomball play for the Section 2 championship tonight.
