  1. It will cost Warfan several Basketball Gym dinners to keep me from revealing his last post, to the right people!!! Seriously, he is a huge supporter of WHS softball. (After Basketball is over) Good luck to the Warriors tomorrow against Woodville. See ya there.
  2. Great Job Warriors!!!!! And Folks, this bunch hasn't even hit its stride!!!! There is a lot of well coached talent on this team. Sorry about this WARFAN !!! ( He doesn't like for me to Publicize their potential).
  3. Warren 58 Jasper 48 in the 1:30 PM game (Sat). Christan Lee, Tiffany Weise, and Courtney Ellis scored in double figures for the Lady Warriors.
  4. Warren 42 WOS 29 in the 12:00 Noon game (Friday) 19-6 run in the 4th quarter by the Lady Warriors was the difference.
  5. Warren, East Chambers, and Kountze in any order. Deweyville and Hardin could also make some noise.
  6. Trey Peters absolutely NEEDS to be playing for someone. Walking on at LU would be a great idea. Not to change the subject, But Who is HERMAN ? Or is warfan correct about his assessment of who he thinks it is ? Herman are you out there?
  7. I think Kountze will win. Really good athletes!!!! I'm really hoping to see a Kountze/ Warren match up down the road. Good luck ladies !!!!!
  8. I know Warren had a very speedy summer team, with good shooting. Did Deweyville play AAU or Summer ball?
  9. This team has shown a lot of character and heart the entire season. With all of the pieces of the puzzle back together, this team will be able to compete with any team in their way. Congratulations, Christan, Tiffany, Stormy, Chelsea, Courtney, Brandi, Allyssa, Shaina, and coaches on your district championship, and good luck Warren lady Warriors against Franklin.
  10. Although the comment regarding the young lady mentioned was made with good intent, I can guarentee that she would never encourage the post. First of all, she has too much respect for her fellow SE Texas softball athletes and friends, to elevate herself above them. She recognizes that each day is an opportunity to work hard and improve her skills at the game of softball, which she loves !!!!
  11. With Carter in the saddle, and the work ethic and attitude of the kids, I believe that this could be the year that Warren has been waiting for. Road wins will be the key!!!!! Good Luck Warriors
  12. Congratulations to the Warren Lady Warriors!!! After losing the first game to the very talented Lady Eagles, they came back and won 3 straight. Shows a lot of heart!!! The school and the community should be very proud of you all.
  13. I look for Warrens defense to be an early game problem for the Bucs, but Tremain and company will be a little too much for the gutsy Warriors. EC wins 20 - 8
  14. Warren finally has their whole team back. Could be an upset over Woodville. Two talented teams !!!!
  15. This is NOT tennis !!!! Let em yell, support, and have fun. !!!!
  16. In response to Jackleg, the Warriors only loss was against Woodville, on the road.
  17. Smoked Turkey Legs with a hot funnel cake for dessert. No place but WARREN!!!!!
  18. In the season opener, Warren defeated 3A Huntington 12-2, and will get by the always tough Oilers. PREDICTION: Warren 18 West Hardin 14
  19. Paul Sims of Warren, and Tyler Copeland of West Hardin get my votes. Look for Sims to light it up for 30 plus several times this season with the shooting touch he has. His teammate Matt Andrews is not too shabby either. He has different range, but still very accurate, and like Sims, is capable of having a big scoring night.
  20. I'm not going to write about how Warren is going to be a surprise team, because this year, it really shouldn't be any surprise. This team is going to be GOOD!!!! Yes, they are still playing in a district with Kountze and East Chambers, but don't look for them to be in awe of that. Both Kountze and East Chambers are tough to beat at home, but both also have to come to Warren. Any less than their best effort, and they will be picked off. Great shooters (Sims and Andrews), and lots of speed (Nash, McBee, Swinney) to name a few. I'm not going to say they should be pre-season favorites, but I'm also not going to say that they can't get there.
  21. Hardin did graduate some quality players, but from what I know, they will still be tough. Personally, I feel Kountze is the team to beat. The key to their success will be how they play on the road. A lot of talent on that team. Don't count out East chambers or virtually any of the others. Competition for the 3rd playoff spot should be fierce. I look for Warren to be improved. New coach Sherrie Broocks has a lot of experience to offer (Winning 2 state championships in Louisiana), and she inherits a team with a lot of Senior leadership. Summer team was extremely young, but gained valuable experience. This district will be fun to watch.
  22. BigCat, What are the times of the one in Kountze? I have a 17 year old duck hunter who needs one.
