1. Congrats Kennedy (Barb) !!!! I am extremely proud of you.  You picked a great university, which is very well coached, and they picked an oustanding softball talent, and a class act young lady.  Just a great fix on both ends.  Kim and Jason, you must be very proud !!!!  Jimmy
2. Congrats Ali !!!!  Over the last year, you have really worked hard and stepped up your game, which  makes me very very proud of you.  Also i think it is very cool that you will be competing at the same college that your mom played College Tennis at.  Good luck and have fun.....
3.
Got a score......BC 67 Warren 41   BC played their 2nd string most of the second half.
Why would that need to be said ?  (Re: 2nd String)
4. Add Huston-Tillotson to the list.  Second year softball program out of Austin.
5.
A belated public congrats to you Shannon. You're always a pleasure to be around and great to see your hard work pay off with what you wanted. Enjoy it and watch out for the stars....
"THE STARS" came up in a conversation this morning at practice.  In fact, it comes up almost EVERY DAY !!!!  That was just a very eventful tourney in San Antonio.  But, to get back on the subject, CONGRATS AGAIN SHANNON !!!!
6. Congratulations Katy Jo !!!! You have earned this achievement with your long hours of hard work and constant desire to succeed.  Well, succeed you did, and as a result you are going to a fine University that is extremely happy to have your committment.  Congrats again, we are very, very proud of you !!!!
7. Congratulations Shannon !!!!  Your committment to Blinn was preceded by years of hard work and total love of the game.  Your "All Out" playing style has made you successful in your high school and travel ball career, and I have no doubt that it will bring you even more success at Blinn.  As Trout said, we are very, very, proud of you, and on the personal level, you have always been a special kid to me, and I couldn't be prouder of you.  Good Luck at Blinn, and keep bashing the ball.
8. Great Job 12U Shockers !!!!  Keep Working Hard, Stay Focused, and more successes will follow.  Congrats to Jennifer and James for a job "Well Done" !!!!
9. Two state championships, several travel ball trips to OKC, spends anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour per practice talking about how to compete, face challenges and succeed in life as well as softball, and attends local high school games, and out of town college softball games to watch as many former players and former SETX players perform.  I sorry white/tiger, but that is EXACTLY the type of coach/person I want my kid around!!!!
10. Mine also played baseball, and I agree with 13 that it is most difficult to find dedicated players and parents.
11. Horns have tremendous talent and tremendous potential, but they will have to play a smarter type of BB.  Rick Barnes just shakes his head sometimes when they lose focus. Even with this being said, I still see them capable of being a final four team.
12. I will definitely be tuned in.  Enjoy the moment Katie, YOU EARNED IT !!!!
13. In the past, this has been a very fine area tourney, and it looks to be a competitive field this year also.  I don't have a "Dog In The Fight" anymore, but I will definitely go watch a few of these.  Good luck to everyone !!!!
14. Congratulations Katelyn !!!!  Your hardwork, toughness, and heart will be very hard to replace when you head up to Austin Texas next fall to put on the catching gear for Concordia.  They (Concordia) have a fine coach, a great new location, first class curriculems, AND ONE VERY TALENTED AND SPECIAL YOUNG LADY COMING TO PLAY FOR THEM.  I am extremely proud of you, and happy for you and your parents !!!!  JW
15. Congratulations Katie !!!!  All of your many hours of hard work has brought the reward that you deserve.  Have fun, compete, and study hard at TWU, and of course "Keep Chunkin" that nasty Drop Ball.  And before I forget, one of the TWU catcher signees sends her congrats also.  Great job again, we are very proud of you, and look forward to watching you pitch a whole lot of games at the college level.
16. Great Job Girls !!!!  Keep Working Hard and the 2nd's will turn into 1st's !!!!
17. I will echo what Trout and several others have posted regarding the coaches, and will also tip my hat to Ronnie and Nara for the hard work that they have done at the Stars over Texas tourneys in Beaumont.  They really have bent over backwards in the organizing and accomodating process of running large tournaments, and if the coaches, recruiters, parents and young ladies will just elevate their efforts just a hair more in the coach emailing/contacting areas, I think we will realize a whole lot more successes in our goals.  Thanks again, Ronnie and Nara, and we will see you in a couple of weeks.
18. If the Warriors can force some turnovers, this game could be closer than expected.  If they don't, it could get ugly.  My prediction: Anahuac 28 Warren 14
19. Congratulations "Buster" !!!!  Good Luck at Galveston College.
20. Thats a pretty accurate post WHSALUM.  I remember all of those teams.  I also remember the Wheatley teams AGGIES ARE WE posted about. They also, were dominant in that era.
21. Add two more to the above mentioned list. Southeastern (Hammond La.) D-1 was there Sat and Sun. And Rey Gonzales formerly of Sterling College in Kansas, was here representing Huston-Tillotson a new NAIA program located in Austin, where his daughter is the new head coach. Good Luck to both of them.
22. My heart says, pick the upset, Warren has played even with several teams through 3 quarters, but unless the Pirates overlook them, Deweyville will prevail. I see it as Deweyville 24 Warren 20 Hope I am wrong !!!!
23. HF, It is probably not going to be your time for an upset, but show them some heart and battle hard. WOS Wins !!!!!!
