    Evadales Savannah Richardson went down early in first quarter against Sunnyvale. She will be OK but unable to play rest of the game.

    Sunnyvale went on to spank Evadale 65-23. Sunnyvale proving they are worthy of #2 ranking in 3A.

     

    Evadale will play at 5 for a chance to play for 5th place tomorrow.

    Evadale: Savannah Richardson 14, Michaela Terry 13, Erin Bertrand 10, Hanna Oldbury 3, Hannah Conner 2, Haleigh Oldbury 2, Torie Langston 2.

     

    Next. 12/30  11am vs Opponent TBD

     

    Lady Rebels have defeated 2 Division 4A Opponents so far. Needville was ranked #21 in 4A

     

    They will play Winner of #4 ranked 4A Mexia/#2 ranked 3A Sunnyvale

     

    Only 2A school left in Gold Bracket

  7. Evadale nabs third in Silsbee

    in Girls High School Basketball- 2014/15

    Evadale Lady Rebels win 3 and lose 2 and take third place in the gold bracket of Kim Albers Classic in Silsbee.

     

    Lady Rebels were in a pool with Lumberton,Buna,Orangefield

     

    They defeated Orangefield 50-33 and Lost to Lumberton 71-45. Evadale went to the Gold bracket on a tie breaker with Buna.

     

    They defeated Bridge City 48-35 and lost to Sheldon C.E King 42-39 in the semi final.

     

    They defeated Hampshire Fannett 40-31 in the Third Place Game

     

    Evadale was the only 2A school in the tournament and its two losses were to 5A Schools

     

    Hanna Oldbury was selected to the All-Tournament Team. She is a sophomore.

     

     

    Congratulation all yu lady rebels now (10-3)

    Thanks to everyone who helped put on another great tournament. The food was great and the basketball exciting.

    Oh yes and congratulations to the Evadale Girls, Champions of the 2014 Evadale Tournament.

    They just wont give up and they just dont give in. ;)
