Neither one of these kids are D1 talents, please just stop. If either one of these were D1 talent, SP would not be the 4 seed in a 2A district. If y'all want to see D1 talent make the trip to Silsbee, then watch SP.

Buna should have never blew their lead on Tuesday night. Joubert can only do so much, yes they are talented but only go one maybe two deep off the bench. I'm impressed with where Joubert has got this team this year. They are set to make another deep run, probably will hit a wall in the quarters. Don't think they have the depth at that point.

He seems to not have much control over his guys, body language is not very good. This SP team has talent, just no cohesiveness to be a good team.

Just trying to start a thread where we can post in one place, for district scores and standings. Does anyone know the current standings for the boys and girls.

I don't know how many players Teague has returned, but Rice is also a good team. Lost in the quarterfinals last year, and returned almost everyone, if not everyone.

LaMarque and Teague are two very good teams, and probably the favorites to move on to San Antonio.

Jeffcoat is an excellent coach, and has two great young assistants. They are building a great program.

Bringing the team together needs to be handled by the coaches and players, in their own private way. The parents of the players need to support them in the privacy of their home. The fans and community, need to show up Friday night cheering and supporting. A pep-rally is not the best way to show support, in this situation.

No doubt, but they beat Kirbyville by 3 Friday. I think they played a little over their heads tonight, also EC without David can not match up down low. They smashed our eyes in tonight, but EC also missed a lot of layups and our only 3 was a half court shot at the end of the first period.

Agreed. Don't know much about these teams, but EC played Tenaha in the MM tournament and they are good. Have no doubt they will make a run.
