Lol. So you have them wining by 2 scores and they escaped by one score, a FG , last time?  Aaah, brother Jag...  Ya killing meh...

Don’t put much faith In that game.  We just lost to japser, we weren’t as healthy as we are now and we have made some position changes.  Yes I know this is probably not the same silsbee team we faced then either.  But I can’t speak for them.

Or that u don't know Jasper didn't really "struggle" like it has been portrayed. One td called back on penalty another dropped in end zone and the fact that the majority of 3rd and 4th qtr we had what is called heavy package in to consume time. Hence the injury to 42.

I was at the game I left in the 3rd and listened to the 4th on the radio. After the first series I that jasper  would score 40+.

I never said struggled so you can drop the quotes.  Also phantom points don’t count for uil so they typically leave them off the scoreboard.  Just so you are aware.

I’m so glad y’all decided to go with the heavy package to not run the score up.  Lol give me a break!

  3. I’m just saying we lost to y’all by 11 points. With a healthy Hunt he ran for over 300 yards.  Even if he gets cleared this week he won’t be 100%.  And now you are down another running back.  We have improved on defense since then.  I don’t think our QB will be back to play.  At best he would be cleared Friday for contact.  So it will be interesting to see how both teams overcome the injuries.

Not a huge fan of PG, but you obviously have not seen PG up close and personal. They are big, but they can move too and they will do it for 4 quarters. I really hope WOS is not sleeping on the Hawks or this could be a rude awakening. PG throws the ball much better than Kennedale did at the time WOS played them. The Mustangs will have to defend the entire field, because PG will stretch you horizontally with the speed sweep and vertically with the play action passing game.

This comment that we hear over and over again is just ridiculous.  WOS will never sleep on a team so let’s just stop saying that.

  5. I think things will be back to normal this week.  We are a heavy run team, passing has not been a strong attack this year.  I’m ok with that.  Last night it changed when Watson came out.  He is a huge threat for our running game and after he came out we had to vanilla it down.  Even when he came back in he we had to play vanilla because he was hurt.  I’m proud of our defense they did an awesome job and even 10-0 I never felt like the game was close.  The fumbles were killers but that happens sometimes.  Overall we overcame the fact that the most important part the offense was either out or having to play simple and we still won by two scores.  That’s more than what celina can say.

My issue isn’t whose playing defense my issue is the lack of teaching fundamentals in practice. They run the same drills over and over with NO contact.  You play how you practice.  Watching the CB’s the other night they had no idea how to cover the WR’s and we’re lost most of the night!

So you want the kids to tackle in practice.. You want them going in sore and tired for every game.   Also you can’t build a practice scout team to mirror what you will see in a game unless you put RJ on scout team.  So how dumb does that sound.

You guys are amazing, the team is undefeated and just knocked off a ranked opponent as severe underdogs and you start a thread to bash the coaches.

I'll tell ya what boys, once that QB graduates my guess is your current staff will be out of there on the first thing smoking to a different school that appreciates what they are capable of, and nobody could blame them.

When that day comes, you guys go ahead and take the reigns of the program, bring in a few other good ol' boys that know what it means to be an true indian!, put in the ol' wing T offense and have all the boys go both ways, slam 'em into each other for 3 hours a day to "get 'em tough". Congratulations, you will have become vidor, every now and then put together a decent run but for the more part your sitting at 5-5, 6-4 year in and year out

did it ever occur to you, that playing kids both ways requires that the offensive kids spend half of their time at practice working a defensive position? Which then means the offense would have to be dumbed down considerably. No more gadgets, no more qb and wr's in perfect sync, you'll be back to the days of 2 runs up the middle on 1st and 2nd, then an overthrown pass on third down, then bring out the punter.....

your current staff has put the most dynamic kids on offense to go with your superstar quarterback, then put a bunch of average athletes with a lot of heart on D and coached them well enough to shut down a bunch of D1 athletes in the 2nd half of that game Friday night, you should be having statues commissioned of those coaches, but instead your going to run them out of town before too long, different town/same story all over the state, nothing ever good enough for some I suppose

Love this post.  PNG does not have the athletes to stack both sides of the ball.  It was an easy choice to pick between the two with RJ.  It will work for now.  They have a varsity offense and a JV defense.  PNG should worry about the rest of district play before playoff talk.
