Ridge Point will be the best team King has faced by far, they are a very good team. King has to play their best game of the year to win this one.

Why did King leave their starters in so long? Hmmm. This is the same coaching from Barbers Hill in 2006, I do believe, and his undefeated BH took a first round loss to these very same Beaumont Jags.score every chance you get.
Another observation.

No, it is not the same staff that was at BH in 2006, unless 2 coaches constitutes the staff. King did not try to run the score up, Central's defense was just that bad. The DC at Central did spend 2 years st King and that defense was terrible as well.

A good DC like Jeff Jones at CE King should be able to slow down Central's offense. It is really not that sophisticated or anything. Handoff to Whaley out of the gun or Jacquet drop back and throw a bomb

Jeff is so longer at CE King, Josh Sadler is the DC and doing a tremendous job.

CE King junior qb Johnathen Brantley has had a good year.

60 of 89 passing for 1204 yards with 15 touchdowns and 1 interception. He has also ran for 400 yards and 10 touchdowns.

I don't think they are over hyped. I have seen them play a few times this year including the Dayton beatdown. Everyone has an not so good game every now and then.

I think its funny that BH had so much "talent" during Price's 100 wins at BH, that is laughable. Now that BH isn't winning near as much they some how have no talent. Everyone knows what excuses are like.

The coach may not be the only issue in BH. You do have to have some type of athletic talent as well. They may be lacking with both though.

A whole lot to very little in favor of C.E. King. The kids at King have figured out how to win and just have too much talent than BH.

King can't score if they don't get 15 possessions like they've been getting with stupid mistakes by their opponents. BH's running game will control the ball if they don't fumble. Funny how bandwagons work. Now everyone's all over Kings jock cause they beat a few mediocre teams. SMH!!!

Ask everyone you "know", Kyle was a year behind me buddy, I've known him since about 1990.

I can tell you where BH got it from and even can teach you the signals we used. We got beat in the 3rd round of the playoffs in the Astrodome that year. I bet a bunch of people from BH remember that year and game and can tell you we were in the spread. I played a fairly significant role that year as a team captain. We also beat Hardin that year 63-0 at their place, I remember it well.

But back to the original topic...BH is terrible.

They are terrible in 2014 and you are wrong about your BH history lesson. They are worse under the new staff, hope the BH people are happy.

Hey buddy, I played for Don Price in 97-99 seasons, we went spread in 99 after a 5-5 season in 98. I helped put the stats you are talking about in the books as I was a starter on offense.
