He makes good players better and makes everyone else around feel like they are a part of the team. BH does not have as much raw talent as most of the larger schools in our district but we win due to the committment and character of the parents, students, and coaches. Coach Gage even works in the concession stand when there is a need during the basketball season, something Coach Price would have never done. Coach Price was aloof and just seemed to be going through the motions his last couple of years. It was time for him to move on to a school with lower expectations. Hence, C.E. King was a logical move, shy of retirement. He was probably shown the door at HF because they wanted to win also.  Sad :-[ [/quote] You are correct on one thing, it was probably time for Price to move on from BH,  but he was not shown the door at HF, he left on his own.

In the words of Lee Corso....aahhhh F Bomb it. BH will not sniff a playoff win in a very long time.

I will go on record and say that he will not win a playoff game at BH.  His best class just finished their senior football season and I dont see him hanging around for much longer, maybe 2 or 3 years.  Just my opinion.

I'm not sure anybody really "benefits" from this situation. HISD is supposedly going to take those 7500 students but I bet some of them end up in Sheldon ISD, Humble ISD, and even Aldine ISD.

If im not mistaken, that is a Schutt helmet.  They are more oblong than the Ridells.  It is very hard to put decals on those helmets. Liltex, you are correct on your statement.

Has anybody seen the new BH helmet.  I guess Gage caught some heat and made the change.  I bet the uniforms will change after this year as well.

This may have already been posted, but I saw today that the Head Coaching position is open at HF. 

I have a question: Does HF varsity team lift on gameday or is it just the underlevels?  I know that when Price was at BH, it was just the underlevels that liftedon gameday.

It was a rule put in place just for extra points/fg. since the game was only an exhibition.  The rule stated that rushers could only come from the outside, not inside.

I am about 99.99% sure that is the rule BHFan.  And for PNG, I got to see them play tonight.  Looked pretty impressive.  They are the best team I have seen this year besides Dayton, Katy, and North Shore.

Who was ejected?  I believe the UIL states that if a player is ejected for fighting they are automatically suspended for the next 2 games.

I say BH by 17, GCM is not very good.

The ties are a nice touch.  I have heard several players openly tell others they hate the new jerseys.  I know of one that even said it is embarrasing.  Good thing they have nothing to do with the outcome of the game.

I can understand why Coach Gage decided to go with the old school uniforms, but they look terrible(in my best Charles Barkley accent) in the year 2010.  I have always thought that BH has had some of the best looking uniforms over the past couple decades, but not this year. And for the school board having to approve this purchase, they do not.  It is up to the person doing the ordering who happens to be the AD/Head Football.

I never dogged BH, never said anything bad about them.  Your comment is still out of line.  

Wow, name calling really helps.  My wife happens to work with children with disabilities and that comment is very offensive and out of line.  Hope you are proud of yourself.

Maybe Price wasn't so bad then.
