I should have known it wouldn't be home and away in the area rounds. That would be a lot of traveling
Home and away would actually be less traveling for both if they do it like they normally do where games 2 and 3 are a double header

The top ranking I saw was the not the THSB ranking for PNG. I should have copied the link, cause I cannot find it. Anyway, preseason rankings are fun, but the final rankings are what matter.
Yep

Just saw a poll that has PN-G preseason #1 in 5A.
Thsb mag does not have them in top 20.. Maybe tops in our district though

Billy foster will be a name to remember. Kid will probably be playing on Sundays in about 6 or 7 years.
Wish I knew the stats I'm sure he had 250 - 300 yds rushing plus a 50 yarder called back
-
Catch by number 10 at the end to set up field goal was clutch. He had a defender step for step with him, qb made a great throw receiver an unbelievable catch.
.. Overall not a well played game by either team but a good" game". Shame someone had to lose. More of a shame it was
my Indians

Out coached again

any one know stats on krautz tonight?
He had maybe 60yads rushing but had some receiving yards early in the game
-
It doesnt matter what happened the last 10 years or what happened over the last 40 years. What matters is TONIGHT.
Indians win 35-27

I went, I'm no football expert. PNG had some size, great looking athletes at the skill positions. Something was missing, just not crisp on play execution like WOS showed. Morse throws a pretty pass, but seem like the timing was off with the receivers. It didn't help the WOS cover guys were all over them.
Dallas had plenty of time, maybe sacked once. His receivers went for the ball. WOS running backs were quick to the corners as PNG never could turn them in.
our receives are at least a foot taller than one of their corners. Not one time did we try to take advantage of that
-
Bottom line WO has our number. They are always tough to beat. You just can't make mistakes and expect to beat them....
-
How is WOS Lucky, what if we capalize on PNG 3 turnovers? So it work both ways. PNG played great BF just didn't make adjustments & we did..
I agree that bf didn't make adjustments (he rarely does) but disagree that png played great. A team that gives up first downs on 3rd and 25, 3rd and 9, and 3rd and 8 in the same drive, doesn't deserve to win. I also agree that WO had something to do with the turnovers
-
The game wasn't that close. Stangs dominated.
You were obviously not at this game. WO is lucky they weren't down 28-14 at the half. (PNG had 3 turnovers and a dropped touchdown pass)... The stangs outplayed us in the second half, but this game could have easily went the other way...

They are peaking at the right time.. They just may make some noise in Austin

get your reservations made

Anyone following this or am I just getting carpal tunnel syndrome?lol
keep it coming
-
I believe they will throw a sophomore that is verbally committed to LSU
I guess that answers the question about is he any good

Glad I decided not to go to Baytown last night. I would have been ticked off to find out there was not a game...
