    Very good team GATA!  I was telling my friend at the game we was playing the state champs of 3a div 2 so i didn't mind losing 43 to 8..lol

    But i think this is the best team newton has had in awhile. . d line is very very fast! Even the offense is better than the past few years.. I think if Newton would've had this offense to go with the 2014 teams defense,  it would've been a different game against waskom..

    Newton stays healthy yall will bring it home this year!

    Its not gonna be good for my bulldogs come friday night nation. . even tho i bleed blue i know whats coming.. 

    The final score might not show it but we gave crockett a fit in the first half.. It was 20 to 12 at halftime but crockett ran away with it in the 2nd half.. Corrigan just isnt having much luck this year and losing key players sure doesnt help.. I think we will battle garrison for the 3rd seed and thats just what it will be a battle..

    My predictions for this game is we will have trouble even scoring.. But my bulldogs will fight til the end crockett will tell u that.. Just hope both teams come out healthy because playoffs is drawing near..

    very true nation.. I was talking to someone bout that yesterday. . this game will really show if we've improved or not.. Like i said it all depends on which Crockett team shows up.. And corrigan will have to play all 4 quarters hard to come out on top in this one..

    But i do believe its possible

    Its alright nation.. Yes we have definitely improved we got our starters back and the young players got a few games under their belt and are getting better every game.. Corrigan and crockett go back and forth.. Lol we beat them a few years then they beat us a few.. Im hoping since they beat us twice last year.. Its our turn now..

    But putting all jokes aside nation.. If crocket shows up and really plays we will fight til the last second ticks off but i believe they will get us.. 

    But let them come to corrigan thinking they already got it won and we are just a push over team.. It will be a long sad ride back to Crockett. . 

    Corrigan is steadily gaining confidence every week and crockett just took a hard loss to yall.. That effects teams differently. . will crockett be shell shocked from losing last week or rebound in a big way this week.. We will see who shows up to play..

    Thanks cactus, very young cc team this year who started off missing a few starters.. But things are looking up heading into district. . and yes sir i feel you are right our district is solid..

The amount of kids at your school is the only thing that should determine that, not the skill of your football team. So this guy is suggesting they get moved up to 4A ? They didn't just get that way over night because people moved in , they have always been good, you can't punish a community for investing in its football team and doing well in that sport by moving them up in classification that's just nonsense lol

    First of all everyone needs to get the chip off their shoulders ! Second it was more of a compliment than anything to newton.. But if u will look at teams like kirbyville woodville and several others.. They are no bigger than newton or corrigan as far as the size of the school goes..But yet they are 3A div 1..  But once again it was a compliment to newton because they can play with 4A teams.. Ive said all i have to say about this.. And i wont answer to anymore smart remarks.. Goodluck to everyone in district.

    Well i think its no secret newton will be crowned winner of this district. .lol way to many weapons on both sides.. But what will hurt so many is their defense! With my bulldogs starting to see a lil daylight and getting 2 starters back for district i believe we can play with crockett and everyone else.. But even tho im from corrigan i just dont see us beating newton.. So i can say for sure newton will be first but the rest is still up in the air..

    You are right nation! We need to take care of business friday.. And i feel like we will it being homecoming and everything. . got a few players back and have made some adjustments and you seen a world of difference against kountze last week.. If we can just get the other 2 back when district starts we should be fine.. I figure we will take 3rd place.. But who knows we will give crockett all they want cause they have to come to our house this year.. Might take 2nd.. Cause i dont see anyone beating yall lol especially if you can stay healthy. .
