I know some like to look at strength of schedules..  and stats ..

So here are some facts about both teams since district has started!

CC has outscored their opponents in district 208-0..

centerville has outscored their opponents in district 201-28…

both offenses have been impressive!  But as the old saying goes..  the proof is in the pudding!   CC will have an advantage in this game defensively..

I know some will say those points came late against centerville….  And that may be the case …   But that Also says a lot about CC’S 2nd string defense… they have done outstanding holding off teams from scoring after halftime

Correction!! Centerville has only scored 186..  not 201

Ok, I found Corrigan, it's between Moscow and Wakefield, but it took me a few seconds to locate Camden, nestled amongst Moscow, Barnes and Barnum. Moscow appears closer to Corrigan on the map than Camden. I've always heard of this school district, and I imagine they have to look at the map to find Port Neches, and for sure Groves. Or perhaps not, they're likely smarter than me.

But anyway, I looked at the highlights in the other thread, and it doesn't appear to be the same players/numbers as the highlights on maxpreps. But one thing's for sure, those running backs simply do not want to go down. Especially that #24 vs Hempstead, in the maxprep highlight. They hit him at the 20, piled on, and he pretty much carried the entire pile to the goal line.

Yes sir that #24 is our FB and I believe he is just a sophomore,   Some of our other skill players are #3.. #4..  #6 ..  #9 they all have pretty good speed !

  4. Buna was huge up front !! And had a great RB..  we had them down like 3 scores when we played them and they come storming back in the 4th quarter!
they aren’t a bad football team if they can work on a few disciplinary problems,  they could be much better!

I will be trying very hard to make it. #3 is a really good back. We have some tough runners this year for Newton, but not a breakaway back like that.

Yes sir he’s got pretty good speed !  #4..#6 and #9 has got very good speed as well!  It’s been awhile for CC since we’ve had that much speed on the field..

Newton has caught another gear and doin great I seen!!
