Another Friday, the last of the regular season. The last of football for some and the start of a new journey for others. Here's wishing all a healthy, injury free game and safe travels to all. To all the young men and women that participated in this grand season, thank you for all the hard work, blood , sweat and tears you put in during this time fighting for your schools. Whether your season is over or not be proud, you worked hard and gave it your all, nobody could ask more. Now it is time to support each and every team that has made the playoffs from this area, even your most hated rivalry. I wish all of you a long journey on the road ahead and many victories, unless you're playing Newton, then a quick death will do. LOL Go Friday night lights.

Looks like they decided to play ball instead of just showing up

The number is adjusted to keep the number of schools in each div about the same. Otherwise if you had a hard cut off number, you could wind up with say (all hypothetical) 500 schools in D1 and 200 in D2. If you were to check, you would see that there are about the same number of schools in each division every year.

Who you challenge is up to you, not to say it needs to be Goliath, but you have to challenge yourself to get better.
