No problem we are united now to get this win and move to the next round. I truly, like the way the Mustangs are playing football. This game will be a challenge there is no doubt about that. The players are ready. We as supporters will need to bring good energy, a yell our arse off at the game come Friday night in Tomball. CS travels well and their fans make a lot of noise.

There was a time when some WOS fans were doubting that we would get here smh. I was not talking about WOS games, I was referring to some calls that I saw in the Carthage game. Besides CS run game, they will throw the ball. Mustangs turn and play for the ball. We will need to step it up in our secondary. Learn their receivers’ routes. Our corners are very capable of intercepting the ball and taking it to the house. My key to the game is to play hard-nosed defense. And let’s HOPE that the refs are neutral and will let the teams decide who moves on to the next round.

Sentiments of Belville and their superior running backs as well. WOS defense is playing on another level right now. IMO teams will not be able to run 4 quarters on the Mustangs to beat them. I was not impressed with Carthage defense against CS, who knows why they did not play better but their defense looked average at best to me.

China Spring was on a mission to defeat the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year; WOS will have that same mentality. Their QB and 3,4, and 8 really like to run much like the athletes Jasper had. I know the Mustangs will need to stop the run early, as this team likes to score quickly.

So far I have not seen a link that will invite us to buy tickets online like Reed. I'm sure WOS will have a link posted soon about ticket sales. This is a beautiful Stadium.

The game between Rusk and Jasper appears to have been a defensive one 7-0 Jasper victory. More people than a few believe Carthage team is next to super bowl champs, I would not know because I haven not focused of them. When I watched your game against Bellville, your team could have made it a closer game if a few more passes had been caught IMO. You were missing an athletic running back who could run and spread Bellville’s defense out. I thought you guys played better than the score showed.

Bellville likes to score big in the first half, Mustangs Must be ready for a heavy running game along with some throwing. We cannot start out slow and fall behind. If they defer the kick off, work the field and run the clock i.e. like they do.

For sure, we should not miss tackle their runners.

#55 has good focus on stopping the run. Rusk did a good job at passing on your secondary, they did not have consistency at stopping or containing # 5, or #10. They were running at free will. I was impressed with the two young men #5, and 10. On the other hand our running backs will have success getting yardage too even though we don’t utilize all of our running backs (injuries we have solid runners). I noticed that #5 plays both ways he can run. IMO who ever has the best defensive stops will win the game.

#99 is a big kid who is trying to figure things out as he is making plays. # 11 is your receiver, and #5 jets to the corners but will also run up the middle. #10 is your bread-and-butter man, he doesn’t like to be taken down easily, and will use the strength in his legs to get extra yards or, for a breakout score. Your secondary has its weakness, but we can’t overlook that they can make a play for interception. IMO our defense will need to stop the run.
