I think it will be determined by whether or not Shepherd can stop the Tarkington QB. He is explosive with some good receivers and backs and a sound o-line. If Tarkington gets rolling I don't know if Shepherd can score enough to keep up.
-
Say what you want, but it is hard to be a confident team when you have not won a game in a month. Tarkington will come into the game with confidence and momentum, Shepherd will have to get something going early to get some momentum.

This Friday night will go a long way in determining who makes the playoffs. Tarkington is a confident team as they should be and Shepherd will have to be ready to play, coming off a tough loss.
Should be an entertaining evening on the prairie.

I think you made basically the same comment about Crockett. If memory serves.

RIP Van. No one loved high school sports more than him.
-
Guess C-Murder chose not to come back and explain his comment. I thought it was a heck of an effort by two good football teams. I did not see or think that Shepherd quit either. Congrats to the Trojans and best of luck to both teams as they continue.

Harrell, Gaitan and the rest of the Huffman offense along with a very unerrated defense will put an end to the hot start for Shepherd.

I noticed a couple of starters for Shepherd suited up but not playing last week against Tarkington. Are injuries going to be a factor this week?
