The most ridiculous post so far. It seems like talk is all Newton fans can do when their team doesn't back it up on the field. This 'ref screwed us' thing is getting ridiculous. I now think that if Newton and BC played 10 games, BC would win 10 out of 10. And the score differential would widen each game. BC is for real this year and apparently Newton and Kirbyville are not at their level. That's football. 

Win with class and lose with class Newton.

Man it makes me sick. How can a team say well if we play again they wouldn't win. They won the first time! Give them the respect they earned!

I think beating 2 quality opponents in a row should have already earned it for them. Jmo.. 

Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but Kirbyville (as of now) should not be ahead of East Chambers. I know they beat weak opponents, but both wins were blow-outs and Kirbyville has lost a game. That's not to even mention the fact that EC returned a ton of players from an awesome team last year. Also...the biggest travesty is Bridge City not being ranked. This is just....wrong.

There're zero excuses for this. Both of those players should be banned from ever being on a football field again.

I agree with you that EC should be ahead of Kirbyville. But as for Bridge City, if they win another game against a quality opponent, they will earn their spot.

I agree. In fact even when it looked like we might go up 31-7 I still never felt like we owned the game. Far from it. We had a few plays go our way such as the punt picked up and returned. These 2 teams matched up very well. Orangefield will be more than ok the rest of the season. It was a great game.

Go back and read my posts. I never made excuses for our loss to BC. Never once, not at any time. They beat us just as fair as humanly possible. In fact I said that the bad passes and interceptions and injuries and such as that were part of football. Get your story straight here fella. I'm calling out the Newton faithful that were running their mouth over how 'indestructible' their team was. Doses of reality can sting sometimes.

BC is back... thank you. Lol.. These are the kinds of statements some of the Newton posters have been saying. They have this delusional image of a team that can't be beat. You've done good if you 'only' lost by 50 to the great and powerful Newton Eagles. The fact is, Newton is just like every other team out there. They are not playing at another level or a class above or anything else. They are *gasp* BEATABLE! Good luck to Newton. I know you will continue to do amazingly well. But calm down some of you backers. Lol.. Your team is made up of high school kids. The same as all of ours.

Lol.. You know honestly I would be a lot more supportive of a team that lost if some of these guys hadn't run their mouth about how inderstructible Newton was. And how they were in a different class or league or whatever than Kirbyville. I am 100% behind Newton in every way. I just had to make sure these guys were brought back down to reality. Nobody is unbeatable.

Both teams I thought we pretty equal, Kirbyville just made a couple more plays and took advantage on a punt that Orangefield didn't down that was picked up and ran back for a touchdown. Heads up play by the Kirbyville player. Kirbyville has some big ol boys and a ton of talent, they'll be a handful down the road. Proud of my Bobcats, we're really scrappy and we'll be better for playing this game. Our defense played better tonight limiting a pretty good Kirbyville offense to 15 points. We're gonna be ok.

I think we all are underselling BC. 

No matter when he plays, this is awesome news that he's ok....especially after seeing what we all saw on the field 6 nights ago.
