After watching quite a few games today, I do not see a reason to say the SEC teams are defensively superb to any other conference. I understand it is week 1 and there are a lot of new faces out there, but the SEC looks like it is becoming an offense driven conference. With that being said, there are going to be a lot of fun games to watch in the SEC and in all of college football this year.

Rory is playing some unreal golf as of late... Also, guys like Ricky Fowler, Jason Day, and Jordan Spieth should win a major or two in the next couple of years. Personally, the field of golfers as a whole are better than any field has possibly ever been.

Clowney is a freak... Like what I've seen from Fiedorowicz, Blue, Prosch and Su'a-Filo as well being rookies... Ready for Nix to be healthy and anchor down the middle of the d-line... So far it is night and day from last week's game to tonight's game...

It's laughable to me how the ags are trying to act like the Horns are in shambles and they are some juggernaut of a program after a 4 loss season and what I will say is a very good recruiting class... You see, for UT a season with 3 or more losses is a bad year and a season where they aren't in the top 10 in recruiting is a bad year of recruiting... That's what seperates UT from aTm... After a season in which they lost 4 conference games, you would think they won the NC from how they are talking...

Not sure if it will happen, but expect Morey to make a push and expect Howard, Hardin, and Olajuwon to be showing him around town if he makes a visit.

Sad to see him pass away, he was one of the great all time hitters with a career .336 average... Not many guys play a 20 year career with 1 club...

I was impressed with Dwight this year despite his past dramatic antics, I do not think getting Melo would be a good move, I would much rather the Rockets get Rondo or Kyrie...JMO

Should be a good game Saturday at 2, with a kid like Thornhill on the bump for UT, UC Irvine better try and get to him early because once he gets in a rythym, he is hard to score against.

Luhnow said he is the most polished high school pitcher he has ever seen. From the few highlights I have seen, he's got all the potential in the world. He's got a lively fastball and 3 solid out pitches in a curve, slider, and change-up. Hope he pans out.

Yeah, I saw Mulder and Bud Norris tweeting about how it was a bad deal for him. Glad he wasn't greedy though.

Hope the 'Horns return to their home away from home in Omaha... Mark Payton deserves a trip in his Sr. year, he has been a great UT baseball player to watch

Couldn't have happened to a better player/person. He is the definition of a true professional.

Only 5 years, 10 mil. is guaranteed, the club has options to turn it into 8 years, 35 mil. if they choose to do so... IMO it's not a bad deal at all
