That in itself should be a good game. If LCM plays Ned like they did PNG, then LCM wins. Plus, Ned still has to face Dayton. Everyone has a real struggle ahead.

And how cool would it be if a sleeper was to beat Central or dayton. That could give that team 2 losses too and make it extremely confusing.

Whatsa matter? Isn't #1 ranked Brenham tough enough to say we've played good teams? And Blowzen was touted to be one of the front runners in district, but were soundly beat by PNG. Sure Silsbee's 3-A, but they're a very good team and will advance in the play-offs too. Mentioning those 2 specific teams that you did, leads me to think that you're from Ned. hhmm

One of the most exciting games I witnessed was in 99' when WOS was up by a few points and Dustin Long proceeded to perform his magic and move PNG down the field, only to run out of time at about the 1 yd. line. It was thrilling, yet sad at the same time. You didn't know who was going to win until the clock hit zero!

Actually, It's kinda nice to see all you good folks so jealous of the Mid-County teams and their playoff history. And I understand how frustrating it must be to sit year after year after year... and watch from the sidelines as one or the other (or both) advance, yet again. So, it doesn't upset me that you guys would love to see us both stay home. However, if it does happen, don't get used to it, cuz you all know we'll be right back in it next yr. or soon after. Simply because both schools have a habit of winning (which LCM, Lumberton & Vidor don't) and they won't stay down long, so, enjoy it while ya can!!!!

I've heard this announcer. He is one sided. UIL rules say' date='"The primary function of a school public address system is to convey pertinent information about the game. Announcers are not part of the cheering section. They [u']SHOULD (not shall) never incite the emotions of the spectators." I stress SHOULD because it is your home field and with class and respect of the visiting team and fans you should be able to interact with the crowd.

That dude is like a Bears chearleader on there. "Another fine run by # so and so...A GREAT catch by so and so...another huge sack for the Bears defense...." This went on all night, not to mention the fact that they would play music over the P.A. very loud while our offense was calling signals (because there wasn't enough fans to make any real noise).

This guy could never be described as unbiased.

I understand the "home field advantage" concept, I'm fine with it, but this gy carries it way too far.

Of course I know what sarcasm is, but that post was NOT sarcasm. It was just a straightforward question. But, I'm happy that you think it's hilarious that LCM beat PNG. At least you have something to smile, depending on who you support of course.

Hey BigHouse, just because you're just now waking up doesn't mean we haven't been on here. Go back to LAST NIGHT and read some of the posts from PNG folks.

My prediction was pretty close. I said 42-10....I just kinda had the teams switched around a bit.

I mean, they certainly had their way with us ANY WAY THEY WANTED TO! They slapped us around, abused us, embarrased us and DIDN'T EVEN KISS US AFTERWARD!!!!

LCM played absolutely FLAWLESS while the Indians were dull, slow and flat. Call it a full moon, let down after the big win last night, looking ahead to next week or whatever you want, but the Bears sure had that blo-blo stuff going for them for sure. I bet PNG had at least 8 turn-overs (date rape drug?). We just did NOTHING right. Not to mention the fact that we were SO out-coached. LCM mixed it up, caught everything that was thrown to them and ran all over us. I was impressed. Good job Bears.

You couldn't beat us on the volleyball court and you CERTAINLY won't beat us on the football field. Try not to get your hopes up too high, o.k.?

Lucky, I've watched the Indians for 40 yrs. now and I've NEVER seen the kind of speed that we have this year. So what that you've seen PNG play several times, appearently not THIS year. Even when they've gone very deep in the play-offs (you may have to look THAT term up, since the Bears don't actually do the play-off thing), I've never seen a fast team like this one. I'm amazed more ea. week, especially after watching a DE run down Ozen's QB and the linebacker close the huge gap and then catch their wide receiver.

I'm not trying to imply that we're the fastest around, just that we're faster than I've ever seen, and it seems to be working quite well.
