I'm hunting in sour lake so I bet its a lot different than south or east or west texas
Where do ya hunt in SL, we hunt the property North of Little Pine Island Bayou from Bevil Oaks to Pinewood, we get to it off Hiway 421, we do good yearly but are very selective on who we let hunt and what we shoot...
  2. LAMPS is nothing more than using doe permits instead of regular tags, most of the times you get 1 permit per 100acres, in some situtations you get more if thought to need more does taken. It does allow you to take does all season with the permits. One thing you have to worry about when going to MLD is loosing your lease or going UP on lease fees which WILL happen sooner or later...
  3.
Going today to look at a 24 1/2 ft SeaChaser.  Anybody have any experience with SeaChaser?    Made by Carolina Skiff.
I have a 22' Sea Chaser with a zuk 200 I love it, no problems, runs really good in a good chop, wish mine had trim tabs tho. It'l run about 55, thinking County Farm n Ranch got one in the other day on a trade...
  4. I have a 1K stage lite I use, for yrs I used locomotive lites set up in series due to them being 35volt 200 watts each. There is a place that sells the 1k lites along with the 'cans' they go in on Major drive in Beaumont. From College turn West on Major place will be on the south side of the rd. about a cpl of blocks down. I can't remember the name but am thinking its a sound store with some lites.....
  5. The first day of practice in Aug would be a great road trip for any HS aged player just to seee what its like or takes to play at the next level under a HOF coach...I was amazed to say the least....I would love to see him put on another tryout down this way...
  6. Thats just 1 I remember, actually I lost a protest in PONY ball on this rule, lost 20$ (a cost of filling a protest) and I was within the rules but still LOST. Had a bunted ball on the 1st baseline, pitcher fielded then dropped the ball then kicked it trying to pick it up again, runner made nonintentional contact n both hit the ground. Rung the batter-runner up for contact n I protested...

Big move by Coach Landry to walk Listi and bring the leading run to the plate.  Guidry got the next batter to pop out and leave 2 stranded.
Moves like this is what I was refering to on the other thread, Coach Landry always plays percentage baseball. Is Haden Guidry Larry Guidry's son. WTG Coach Landy and boys.....

Jake Lemoine threw a gem for 6 1/3. Zach Smith broke a 1-1 tie in the 7th with a 3 run HR to push the Cardinals up 4-1.

Bottom of 7th was a classic as Lemoine tired by walking one and hitting another. With UT signee Brook Marlow coming to the plate, he was 2-3 plus a tape measure HR that was just foul early in the game, BC rolled the dice and waved him on to load the bases.

With the bases loaded and 1 out, Forrest Zoch relieved Lemoine and with 1 pitch, 3B Peston Pittman fielded ground ball, stepped on 3rd and and gunned the runner out for game ending DP.
That my friend is %age baseball and right out of the book, clasic, great job coach Landry.

what about Ned's no. 1? will he be able to throw?
Would be considered a rumor if this question was answered>>>even if it was ABSOLUTLY correct, only one that can answer without it being considered a rumur is the mom, then I would still have my doughts...BTW there is no #1, 2, or 3, havn't you heard....
Yes, your son's "rumor" ended up being correct, but after he retracted it saying he was playing, then changed his mind again saying he was out.  No one knows but his Dr. and hopefully we will find out something in the next few days.
I do realize his rumor is deemed to be true, I meen we even got the correct spelling and defination of a "rumor" so a rumor it was not. He was just the messenger and was shot ........repeatedly. I just reread your post after I sent you a PM do you honestly think he >>changed his mind<< and told all on here Duplant couldn't play as some sort of a joke or just to lead people on...You sir need to put the crack pipe down. Like I said in your PM if a select few would have made the exact statement absolutly nothing would have been said...

Umps don't have to qualify. The coaches pick the umps. It is typically a split crew from the two chapters that call for the two teams during the regular season.
Unless things have changed they DON'T pick m, they do have an option to scratch m tho, I've never understood why you don't see the best the Asso has to offer.

I just found out that he will be able to play. You guys can un-wad them, and put em back on.
WOW... This about Bulldog baseball not Gladiator baseball...Being a coach of a so called select team you would think non-sence crap like this would not come out of your mouth..This looks great for that organiztion... :o
You are correct on the Bulldog baseball part BUT whatsup with the rest of your post, I think his post was concerning Ned baseball, rumur my %*&  ???, he is and has been a good friend of the family, so go figure. " non-sence crap" would be the rest of YOUR post. At this point Ned needs the whole team ready to rock...Ned in 2
  13. Dennis, yrs back Billy Davis called for a pitch cuz the batter would not get in the box due to coach talking to batter a second time, pitch was delivered high and called a strike, the opposing coach went in orbit, Billy told him, he (the batter) had X amount of time before he would call for another which he did, what happened was 2 coaches ejected and the batter had 2 strikes on him before entering the box. I guess the diff was the batter not getting into the box in a timely manner V/S just stepping out while swinging....
